I'm willing to forgive
But never forget the pain
But sorry won't give you the right
To dominate my life again

We will never be
What we once were
Your lies made
That option deter

But forgiveness looms
At a lengthy cost
You must say sorry
And your pride become lost

A little groveling
And bowing will do
And be sure to get me
A worthy gift too
