Chapter 2: Meeting Princess Sally

Sonic ran up to Tails's workshop and knocked on it. The Door opened and there was a fox wearing a neckerchief, miner gloves, a belt and boots. The fox is about 10 years old and he is quite energetic.

"Sonic? You know you can just come in, right?" Tails asked "Especially if an Armada attacking...."

"Yeah... About that..." Sonic said. "Think you can fly me up there in the Tornado?"

"Why?" Tails asked "You must have a reason.". "Because I promised King Acorn I would protect this city and planet!" Sonic said.

"You're insane..." snapped Tails. "C'mon, Tails." Sonic said "We'll be heroes if we do!". "You're not gonna to give me a choice, are you?" questioned Tails, "Nope." answered Sonic "Not at all.". "I'll get the Tornado ready." Tails sighed, walking back inside.

King Acorn sat on the throne, ordering his castle knights and his air patrol forces to start defending. Sally arrived. She came here carrying an injured trooper from the battle. "Someone get that man to a medic!" shouted Sally. As a fellow soldier took the injured trooper to a hospital, Sally ran to her father.

"I tried to prevent many injuries and deaths..." said Sally "But that's too much for us to handle, only Elias and I can handle the predicaments ourselves.", "I cannot let you fight, Sally." said King Acorn. "Dad, please let me help!" Sally asked. "I brought these Ring-Blades for reasons like this!" She activated one of them. "No, I cannot allow this, that's out of the question." King Acorn said. "That is too dangerous!".

Nicole appeared in the room. "Sire!" she yelled "Sally is a mutant, not just a princess, but as a princess, it's her job to protect this kingdom, no matter the risk!". King Acorn sighed, he wasn't sure if it's necessary for Sally to help her brother and the castle knights to stop the Battle Bird Armada. "You're right, Nicole," the King said "Sally, you may join the fight to help Elias... But please, return safe to me." Sally agreed and ran out. Several Castle Knights were injured and dozens of Castle Knights were killed while trying to protect the city. Many civilians were killed and some of the houses are burned down. Elias managed to get the survivors to the safe zone, including the injured. Sonic and Tails got in the Tornado, they flew the plane around the battleships, shooting the cannons.

"How are we going to drive them out, Sonic?" Tails asked. "Simple, we take down their leader!" Sonic said "Which is that one, I think.", He pointed at the big crimson wide ship. "Aim for that cockpit!" the teenage blue hedgehog shouted.

The Great Battle Kukku was watching as his troops were massacring the city, while he yelled threats into the microphone. "Just give up or I'll kill every last innocent life!" he yelled. The glass around him shattered as it was hit by bullets from the Tornado. Sonic jumped in, taking out and killing the pilots of the ship. "You!" snapped the Great Battle Kukku, "Yo, ya dirty-rotten bitch!" snapped Sonic "Stop this attack, or else!".

"Or else what, teenager!?!" sneered the Great Battle Kukku. Sonic's mutant powers and homing skills attacked him, making him lose his balance. Sonic then ran over to the control panel and turned the big ship towards another big ship, which is the teal one, The Crime boss realized Sonic is trying to make his ship crash.

"St...sto...sto...St-st-st-sto...S-S-STOP!!" The Great Battle Kukku yelled. "Are you trying to kill me!!??!!". "Yeah!" Sonic yelled "Who are you working for, you old coot?".

"Julian! Julian Ivo Robotnik!" answered the crime lord, Sonic was surprised by the mention of the Great Battle Kukku's master, he realized that the Great Battle Kukku is in league with Eggman. "By order of Dr. Julian Ivo Robotnik..." the crime lord said as he put on a jet pack and got out the microphone. "Retreat! Retreat! Fall back! Fall back!" He activated the jetpack and flew away as Sonic jumped out just as the big crimson ship crashed into the teal ship, which caused both of the ships to explode.
