Naturally I kept my head down and kept about my business but I couldn't help but look at him. The light from the moon had caught his light brown eyes so perfectly they seemed to sparkle as bright as the stars on a summer day. I couldn't help but notice how intriguing they were as I walked past. They even hinted at a bit of mystery within them.

"Hey!"

Breaking my train of thought I turned around sharply only to see the drug dealer with the captivating eyes. I felt myself start to get nervous as he began to approach me.

"Wassup?" I said as calmly as I could.

Now fully looking him in his face he looked as if he couldn't have been more than about 19 maybe 20 years old. His beautiful brown complexion made him look even more breathtaking.

"I don't want any drugs or anything." I continued to say.

"Nah. I wasn't really trying to sell you anything. Unless you wanted to buy." He chuckled.

"Haha. You're so funny." I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes.

"Why you gotta be so mean? I just wanted to get to know you a little." He said flashing me a half smile.

"Well, there's nothing to know." I smiled back, pulling out my phone to check the time to seeing that it was 10:29. "I gotta go now." I continued as I started to walk away from him.

"Yeah, whatever. I'll see you around then." He said smirking at me.

Man, I don't even know why I let that guy talk to me. I wouldn't really get involved with guys like him because they usually don't have anything going for them except for the money in the business. I guess I can't really judge a book but it's cover or by it's amazingly gorgeous eyes. I wonder what else he did besides all the selling. I was interested in finding out but I wasn't going to stalk him or anything. Maybe one day I'd have the pleasure of finding out.

As that girl started to walk away I remembered I forgot to ask her name. I had no idea if she lived around here or not. I wasn't about to walk around going door to door asking about her. I ain't with all that. Maybe I'd see her again on the streets or something. Who knows.

I reluctantly pulled my phone out to see who was texting my phone this time. I really hoped it wasn't one of my customers bugging me this late. I was tired and I kinda wanted to get home and sleep.

"Hey Tay. How you've been baby (;" It read.

Who's number was this? I thought to myself.

"Are you kidding me?" I said aloud.

I knew exactly who's number this was. It was my crazy ex girlfriend, Keisha, from a couple months ago. I don't know why she was hitting my phone all of a sudden and I wasn't really interested in finding out either. I just hoped I wouldn't see her anytime soon. She had a thing for showing up unexpectedly. I deleted her message and continued down to my house.

Maneuvering myself up the ramp that my mom had installed for me before we had officially moved in here. I unlocked the door and was instantly greeted with the sound of loud snoring. My mom could really snore this whole house down. I laughed to myself as I closed the door and made my way to my little sister's room making sure I checked on her before continuing to my own room.

I rolled my wheelchair over to my bed and instantly plopped onto my comforter rolling over on my back and staring up at the ceiling. I don't know why but that girl from the block kept creeping into my mind. I had to find out if she lived close by.
