Chapter 2: Maybe Not Just A Little Fun

Riley's POV

I was at school and I needed to go to the bathroom so I headed to the end of the hall. As I entered I saw Maya drying her hands. I looked at the stalls to make sure we were alone and after I did I started moving closer to Maya. I was leaning in to kiss her when she backed away. "Riles what are you doing?" She asked with a confused face as if we didn't just make out this morning. "What do you mean?"
"Why were you trying to kiss me?" She asked with a small sympathetic smile.
"Oh, I thought... Because of what happened this morning..."
"I told you, it was just a little fun. That's it." She said.
"Oh..." I said with sadness and disappointment.
"Yeah...." She said awkwardly and went out of the bathroom.

"Oh hey Maya" I said as the blonde entered through my window.
She didn't say anything. She just came closer to me, slowly and pushed me on my bed. "Maya what are you doing?" I said as she climbed on top of me. "I just..." She said and not a second later she kissed me. I broke the kiss after a few seconds. "Maya... I thought you didn't want...." I don't even know what is happening between us anymore. "Well now I do. What? You don't want to make out with me?" She said as she slightly backed away from me, still on top of me. "But what is this Maya? Is this just casually making out whenever you want or there could be a chance for something here?"
"I... I don't know" she said as she got off of me completely and stood in front of me. "Then who does Maya?" I said as I got up to stand in front of her. "Look Riley, I don't know anything besides the fact that I really want to kiss you right now. And maybe... I'll figure it out along the way."
"But I-"
"No Riley. This doesn't mean you're my 'experiment' or something because I really do want to be with you. I just have to figure out in what way."
"Ok" I said quietly.
"So...." She said as she looked up and we looked eyes.
"So...." I said as I looked deep into her beautiful eyes.
We started taking small steps towards each other. I cupped her face and kissed her. The things she does to me....
