Laura's POV
It was Friday's morning and like always is another day at the so-called school. Tonight is the party and I seriously don't know what to put. And no, I am not stressing over my outfit, but I will not go with something out of style so easy to make fun about me.
Today seemed sad and depressed. Grey clouds and cold breeze covered the sky. It looked like it will rain later. The sun was behind the clouds so you couldn't see it, not even trying. But I felt very identified with the climate. Sad and depressed.
I felt so lazy, but there is a good reason behind that. All night I couldn't sleep. The things I said to him echoed in my head and wouldn't go. I didn't mean to scream at him but when people say that it makes me so mad that I don't control myself.
I sat on the edge of the bed looking everywhere in my room until my eyes spotted the balcony. And through it I could see him. He was getting ready for school. I saw him in front of his giant size mirror, he didn't know how to put his hair so first he parted to the left side and shook his head, then to the middle and again he didn't like it, to the right neither so he just messed his hair a little with his hand and decided to left it like that.
But I have to admit it, he looked good.
He looked at me throughout the mirror and looked at me with a 'what the fuck are you doing' look. I looked away and blushed of embarrassment because he just saw me staring at him. That's not cool Laura, that was creepy!
I decided to go to school without eating breakfast. I wasn't that hungry. I arrived just in time before the bell ring.
When I was putting my books in the locker I felt someone approached me. I turned around slowly a little afraid who might be. But in the moment I recognized who was I regret it.
"well, hello shortie" Gabriella said smirking. ugh! that girl is everywhere I go. One time I was at a really nice restaurant, and guess who was the waitress? yes, Gabriella worked there for extra credit. She confused my orden 3 times and I had to eat a horrible food.
I maintained shut afraid that I could say something that might angry her. "So, Are you going to the party?" she asked. I didn't answer. I looked at the floor, the ceiling but not at her. "answer me I don't have all the time" she exclaimed raising her voice a little.
The words couldn't go out of my mouth so I just nodded signaling her a yes. "and your boyfriend is gonna be there? oh right you don't have one....that's sad. Plenty of boys out there and no one wants you" she made a fake sad face laughing at her own comment. But that wasn't that funny.
"a-actually I h-ave o-one" she widened her eyes and had a shocked expression on her face just like I am. Did I just say that I had a boyfriend?! Oh my gosh Laura what are you even thinking about?! Are you crazy?!
"yeah sure and I have a unicorn named rainbow, I don't have time for games Marano" she said putting her hands over her chest looking angrier than ever before. I understand her, I mean I am mad at myself for lying.
"it's true! he is right....." I trailed off looking everywhere trying to find someone who can help me out of this mess. I spotted Allan but he was with Daniela on her locker probably flirting so that wouldn't help at all, so I went to the second option that was right beside me.
"right there.." I said pointing to the guy taking his books out next to my locker. "you mean, that new hot guy is your boyfriend?" she asked impressed.
