"What did you guys talk about?" Cassidy asked. She was laying on my bed eating popcorn like I was her favorite movie.

"We didn't really talk. But it felt nice just being together." I admitted.

Cassidy squealed and threw popcorn at me, laughing when I popped it in my mouth. She wiggled her eyes at me and I threw a kernel back at her.

"What?" I asked.

She rolled her eyes. "When are you hanging out again?"

"I didn't really think about it. Maybe at school." I stuffed a handful of popcorn into my mouth and rolled on my back staring at the ceiling.

I wasn't worried about the school reacting if I was gay. No one cared. But the school nerd dating the school jock would raise questions and rumors. I was like the lowest ranking person at school, the chess club dudes didn't even count. Sure Cass helped me out but it would take awhile for anyone to consider me cool.

Cassy nudged my foot and I looked over at her then made a face. She giggled and pinched my cheeks until I was taping out. She had a strong grip.
We decided to actually do stuff with our lives and we were going to head out to the movies when Amie's voice sounded from the kitchen.

"Oh my God Jack who sent it?"

I walked into the kitchen and spotted a box on the floor. "What's that?"

Annie looked at me with a million mixed emotions. "It's for you Johan... from Paris."

I felt like my heart stopped. "Who sent it?"

"I don't know." Jack spoke. "There isn't a return address and the shipping company won't trace it per sender's orders."

"We'll give you a chance to look through it on your own. This must be a big deal." Amie told me with misty eyes.

Cassidy helped me lift the box, it was pretty heavy, and we took it to the living room.

Cass blew the hair out of her face. "Do you think it's from Momma Mull?"

"I've no idea." I confessed. I was about to tear open the box when my phone started to ring. I searched for it, embarrassed. The ring tone was the Avengers theme tune thingy.

"What's up?" I asked in form of greeting.

"Hey Johan." Ted said quietly on the other end. "Are you busy?"

"No, I'm hanging out with Cassidy at home. Do you want to come over?"

"Yeah. Hah its kinda boring here without you."

My face heated up. "Don't make me blush." I laughed.

He chuckled. "I'll be there in 20."

"Okay." I said and hung up the phone with a smile.

I almost bumped heads with Cassidy as I turned around she had her ear pressed to the phone listening to the convo. "Cassidy!"

I said but she just laughed and squealed and jumped around until I hit her with a pillow. She hastily sat down and did a bad job trying to control her laughter. I snatched the bowl of popcorn from her and sat down.

"You're so weird." I said through my mouthful.

"I pride myself in that." She laughed and snatched the bowl back.

About 15 minutes later there was a knock on the door.

Ted was standing there wearing a nice fitting blue T-shirt with a leather jacket over it and a pair of dark jeans. His blond hair seemed to shine in the sun and his green eyes lit up when I opened the door. He was like a picture out of a magazine. He was hot. I never thought I would think of a guy as hot in my entire life.
