"Killua!!! Don't let this beat you!!"
Cold...
I slowly open my eyes and feel a presence by my side and a hand in mine. My fingers twitch and there's a stir by my side.
"Mm...Killua?" Gon yawns and rubs his eyes.
"Yes Gon?" I say and look down towards him.
"How long was he here for? A night? A week?"
"Killua." He says again and grips my hand. "Are you okay? How are you feeling?"
"I'm good..."I grit my teeth and feel a sharp pain in my side.
"I'm so glad..."
Gon presses his forehead to my hand and trembles slightly.
"Gon...What happened?" I ask and feel bandages around my torso.
He didn't respond for awhile. I shook him a little.
"Gon what happened?" I ask again.
"We had to go in for surgery on your lower abdomen. How are you feeling Killua?" Leorio looks at me and then to Gon.
"Gon. May I talk to Killua alone please?"
Gon lets go of my hand and shuffles out of the room. Leorio walks over to the side of my bed and changes my IV.
"Any pain?"
"Yes...In my left side."
"Okay...Light-headed?"
"No."
"Feel-"
"Why did you have to do surgery on me?"
There's a long pause and Leorio started to check my heartbeat.
"Why Leorio?"
Nothing.
"Why?"
"Calm down Killua."
"No I want to know why. I can take it."
Leorio sighs and takes the cold metal off of my chest.
"You had a small growth in your lung...Luckily we caught it before it got to serious."
"Growth?"
"C-can it come back?" I ask and my voice is shaky.
"It shouldn't,but if it does come back. I promise I'll take care of it."
He smiles and gives a thumbs up,but I can see a pained look in his eye. He checks everything else and leaves the room.
"I could've died...Gon...I'm sorry."
"Killua?" Gon says and leans against the doorway.
"Yes Gon?"
"I'm coming to live you and Alluka." He says and smiles at me.
"I'm not leaving your side. Ever."
"Gon." I smile slightly and look down at the bed sheets.
"Okay."
