Chapter 4

Okay, I just met Jordan. I am not jealous. I walk up to him.
"Hey, Meg! This is my girlfriend, Jasmin." Jordan gestures to the girl with the short purple hair.
"Hi, nice to meet you! I'm Jasmin." She holds out her hand and I shake it.
"You too, I'm Megan."
"How'd you meet Jordan?" She asks.
"Oh, I fell asl-"
"Hey guys." I get cut off by a British voice. I look up to see the guy with the snapback from the bus.
"Oh, hey Will."
So his name is Will.
"Hey Jordan, Jasmin, Megan."
"Wait, how do you know my name?"
"Jordan told me. We're in the same dorm and I had asked why he was late."
Part of me doesn't want to believe that, but okay.
"I'm Will, by the way."
"Nice to meet you."
I'M MEETING TOO MANY PEOPLE I CAN'T KEEP UP WITH THEM ALL.
"We'll be right back." Jordan says. Jasmin and him walk off to some random corner and leave Will and I awkwardly in the middle of the auditorium.
"So..."
"Sooooo..."
"Where are you from?" Will asks.
"Uh, Canada."
"Oh, cool. I think some other people enrolled this year are also from Canada. Those two, I think." Will gestures to two guys, one with Bieber hair and glasses and the other with a wide smile and nice hair.
Sorry, I'm extremely terrible at describing people.
"Oh, do you know their names?"
"Uhm, I think... Mitch? And Brandon? No, Brayden. Mitch and Brayden."
"Oh, good to know. Good to know..."
Aaaaand we're thrown back into a pit of awkwardness.
"So I'm having a get together tomorrow night for like all the new people, do you wanna come?"
I look up at Will. He's pretty tall, actually. Or maybe I'm just really short.
"Okay, yeah, sure. Where and when?"
"At my dorm, like around 6 PM tomorrow night? Dorm 2."
"Okay, yeah. I'm down."
"Alright, cool. I'll see you there."
Suddenly, the piercing sound of feedback plays over the whole auditorium and I cover my ears quickly.
"Attention, please take a seat so we can get orientation started. There are numbers on the chairs corresponding to your dorm numbers, please sit at your designated seat."
I find my way to the seats labeled '7' and sit down; Bee comes after a moment and everyone is seated after a minute or so. Silence falls over the auditorium.
The lady starts going over the rules.
Arrive at your classes at time.
Don't hurt each other.
Be in the cafeteria on time or don't eat a meal.
No food in the dorms.
Have your lights out and be falling asleep by 9 PM.
9 PM? That's so early.

A.N.
so I wrote this chapter over the course of 2 days... at 4 AM. yes it's 4 AM and I'm still awake because I had a really strong iced coffee today.
