Dear Leah,
I've been going through your letters like a starving person devouring food. It's barely been a day since I discovered your letters, and I'm almost done reading them all. Once I'm finished, Lord knows how many times I'll reread them all.
I never knew that you wrote letters to me while I was away and you missed me. I guess it's my turn to write letters to you now.
When I read, it almost feels like you're here with me. I mean, I actually laughed today when I read one of your letters. I haven't laughed in so long that it sounded like a croaking frog, but still, I laughed.
As my therapist would say, that's progress.
