Hint hint: blondie
"It's a long story," I rolled my eyes remembering the reason why I am heading over detention in this Wednesday afternoon when I am suppose to be in my house relaxing and forget this day even happened.
"I have got time" he said crossing his arms over his chest anxious to hear the story, "But I have not and if I am late there will be probably another detention welcoming me"
Allan groaned, "Fine, but you better tell me why because we are cancelling our study date just because of this" he said as he went to turn on the corner of the hall, bumping with a wall in the process.
I laughed at his clumsiness "Ok,"
When he had already disappeared in the long and empty hallway without readjusting his clothes properly or looking the slightest bit decent, a long sigh escaped my lips for two things in general.
As much as I wanted to run away from this and skip detention, it's nearly impossible considering I don't want another one waiting for me and the janitors are always watching until the last student get out of the building, so walking through the exit door without getting caught it's a challenge.
My hand made contact with the cold metal of the doorknob and turned it around pushing the door open revealing a classroom filled of bored teenagers and an old woman sitting on the desk reading a big book with almost more than three hundred pages. The teacher lifted her head up from the book but immediately turned her gaze down obviously not interested in who comes in considering she probably had another things to do instead of watching a group of rebellious teens that only make disasters everywhere they go.
Not my case because I was forced to come here by an unfair teacher.
I readjusted the backpack firmly around my shoulders out of uncomfortableness by being the center of attention in that exact moment, but tried to ignore it anyway. I sighed —for what it feels like the hundredth time this day —when the only empty seat is in the corner all the way back near some black haired girls dressed with exaggerated and very inappropriate clothes. Their makeup is a bonus.
Whereas walking through the the narrow spaces, those snobby girls glued their eyes on me.
One of them turned around twirling a strand of her blonde hair between her index and middle finger, "Why are you here child? accidentally applied purple eyeshadow instead of pink" she commented snickering making her group of friends laugh.
I didn't feel like talking specially because these girls are bad history, "talking" short and simply so she wouldn't have anything else to continue the conversation.
She chuckled, "you are such a badass"
Laughs again.
When she was about to open her mouth and say something — probably to bother me — the door swung open.
And there stood the only guy who likes to make it dramatic when it comes to entrance.
The old woman looked surprised when he walked inside without closing the door behind him, rolled his eyes at her, and winked at some girls.
She cleared her throat and pulled her glasses further to her nose. You could see the effort she was doing to keep herself calm and ignore the little scene he just pulled.
The girl and her friends immediately forgot me now realizing that the hot dude it's actually more interesting than the nerd they were making fun of. What a relief.
But it isn't when the male blonde decided to sit behind me.
why?
oh please tell me why.
A chestnut haired girl sitting next to the blonde one squealed not so quietly before speaking, "I found my next target,"
Target? what is she talking about?
Her friends smirked while nodding making the girl a little more confidence.
"He seems like a great fuck partner," a girl said keeping her voice low considering he is sitting a few meters away from them.
What the actual heck.
"And look at him, if he looks that nice just sitting there imagine while he is in action,"
oh my god I think I might puke.
"You know I think this is just coincidence" a deep voice said from behind. I furrowed my eyebrows turning around slowly to be met with a pair of hazel eyes. I rolled my eyes, "It's not a coincidence when it's technically your fault I am here"
"look at the bright side, I am spending more alone time with you" he said.
"And where is the bright side for me?"
He shrugged, "I thought it was mutual"
"You thought wrong,"
When I sat back well on the chair, the girls were looking at me in horror. Their expressions were unreadable and the chestnut one looked like she was going to kill someone. Or maybe me. I shifted uncomfortably on my seat trying to get their eyes off of me, but they continue to send me nasty looks and hatred glares.
"Seriously? I don't think he fell that low?"
Excuse you?
"How is that even possible?"
It is not.
"I am sorry Bella"
so her name is Bella.
They kept on murmuring bad things while I was pretending I wasn't hearing. Because first I really didn't care and second, I really really didn't care.
"I'm leaving" I said standing up and taking my belongings with me. I walked past them almost falling and face landing on the hard floor when one of them extended her foot in attempt to hurt me. How mature. There were a few snickers from people that caught my what would have been a terrible anecdote. The old woman didn't even notice when I exited the room or when I accidentally let an insult or two slip out from my mouth.
