It was 12:00 midnight an I could here my mom and dad arguing. I really didn't think nothing of it cause they argue every night about something dumb. I was on the phone with my best friend Yasmeen. I heard a loud thud and I told her to hold on but she was to busy blabbing off at the mouth. I overheard my mom say in a distraught voice "Why would you ever hit me Jalil?"
I got up and walk to my mom's room to see what was going on. I walked in the room and saw my mom on the floor and my dad standing over top of her. I pushed my dad our of the way and went straight for my mom. I looked at her face and she had a black eye.
I immediately started yelling and cursing at my dad. I told him to get out before I called the police. That night he left the house and he never came back.
