Ethereal: A series of Percabeth one shots

" Samantha!"

I looked at my minion number two with my eyes narrowed, hoping my beautiful blue eyes would do the trick.

Turns out, it didn't.

With a sigh I said, " Can't you see? I'm dreaming about my date with Percy Jackson that has to take place today. Oh my goodness, my mind wandered back to dreamland but of course, she has to interrupt it again.

" He has rejected you twenty times already, I think you should give up now and stop asking him out."

What? Is she alright? I'm the prettiest girl in the school with long brown hair and blue eyes. I know he's just playing hard to get.

With a scoff, I replied, " Sweetie, haven't you heard? Twenty one time's a charm" and walked away.

I just realized that the next class is gym.
YAY! Note the sarcasm. On the brighter side, even Perce is in that class.

And so I skipped my way to my class only to see some of the students already gathered around Coach Hedge. I swear he has an obsession with cupcakes.

Then my eyes wandered to Percy who was grinning at someone. I followed his gaze to see a girl standing next to Coach Hedge. She had beautiful blonde hair and really scary grey eyes. As if she felt me staring at her, her gaze went to me and I averted my eyes as soon as possible.

" ALRIGHT THERE CUPCAKES, BUCKLE UP!"

Just then Percy said, " Coach, you don't have to be so loud. Please?"

All the rest of us nodded.

He shrugged his shoulders and continued, " We are learning about different combat techniques today. A nearby camp has provided us with some props and an experienced trainer Annabeth.

The girl with those scary eyes nodded at us and I looked around to see all the boys drooling at her.

Boys.

She stepped forward and said, " We are going to start with sword fighting. Any volunteers?"

All the guys had their hands raised and surprisingly even Percy! What?

She picked Percy of course. Who wouldn't?

And so the clashing of swords began. It seemed to continue for ages and in the end, Percy won and they were in quite a position.

He was lying on top of her with his sword near her neck and both of them were grinning. He held his hand out to her, but she outright refused it and stood on her own. He smirked at her, as if to say, " Of course."

" CUPCAKES! You saw them. They will be helping you out throughout the class. Go do your work", Coach said.

Meh.

During the practice, those two were exchanging a lot of glances and touches, it all looked friendly until they

kissed. And I'm not talking about a kiss on cheek, but a kiss I read about in romance books.

I acted without thinking, I walked towards them and separated them to say, " What are you doing with my future boyfriend?"

She looked at him as to ask is she really worth it?

He just chuckled and shook his head.

She smiled, which honestly scared me a little and said, " Darling, he might be your future boyfriend, you have a 0.001 percent  chance but for now, he is my present boyfriend. So bye then."

"Samantha? What are you doing? Disturbing the class? 50 LAPS AROUND THE FIELD!", came the voice of Coach.

FML.

And that's how I realized my mistake and learnt to never mess with Percabeth.
