*Two years later*
Tristan's POV
Today was the day. I was gonna do it. I've prepared myself to do it for the past months. Heck, I even rehearsed the words I was gonna say. Today was the day I was going to propose to Brad
I paced in the living room. Since we moved in together a few weeks ago, Brad decided to get a "part time job" to earn a bit more cash. And now he was coming home
"God God God God God" I mumbled. Then the door creaked open. He was here
Focus Tristan. Don't screw this up
"Hey Trissy" he said then hugged me. I gave him a small smiled and let go of him. "What's wrong?" He asked worriedly. I sighed. Here we go. "I've waited a long time to do this" I said. I kneeled down and raised my right knee upright. I saw Brad's eyes widen.
"Bradley William Simpson" I said. "Here" he said. I giggled. "We've been together for quite awhile now, and I've been wanting to do this for a long time. We've gone through- okay, let's skip all that mushy stuff. Brad, will you marry me?" I asked nervously.
I closed my eyes and prayed he would say yes. Then I heard a squeal. I opened my eyes to see Brad running around the room like a kid. Then he looked at me and smiled widely. "Yes Tris! Yes! I would love to marry you!" He said before jumping on me. I fell to the floor, holding him in my arms.
He nuzzled his head in the crook of my neck. "I've always dreamed of this moment. I never knew it would happen" he said happily. I smiled
"I never thought too"
Brad's POV
I can't believe it. He proposed to me. To ME. I'm so happy. I've always dreamed of this moment, and I never actually knew it would really happen
I guess fate decided we should be together
They made the right choice
"I love you Tristan" I said.
"I love you too"
