This world I've come to know
Holds nothing for me but terror
Filled with the ashes of love
And still burning them up in flames
Flickering into darkness
And burning back into light
Burning its image into my eyes
Leaving me unable to sleep at night
Twisting, turning I try to sleep
Left with nothing to dream but fire sounds
Left with nothing in my dreams to see but burning ashes all around
Until I take all the love I have for me
Until I take all the love I've ever had for you
All the love I've ever had for this world
And burn it to the ground.
