People are confusing.
Since I didn't want to walk this time and the school bus was parked just meters away, I decided to take it because, why not? Ten steps away and the bus was already going off of the stop which made me widen my eyes and run so maybe I could catch it on time.
"Hey!" I shouted on my loudest voice I could ever made trying for the driver to hear me or see on the mirror that I am practically behind the bus running fast to reach it.
For my luck, on the first turn, the driver noticed me and stopped almost immediately. Which is weird, considering the old man was basically singing out loud as loud as he could one of Bieber's song with headphones on. I don't know why the passengers didn't complain, I guess they don't pay attention at other's business. Or they just decided to ignore the high notes.
He isn't going to receive a Grammy for that.
With the little of strength I have left from running almost two minutes behind the yellow bus without a rest to catch my breath, I ran one more time wanting to just sit on those seats and forgetting about I have P.E on the third period. Which is unfair because I had ran more than the teacher always request. And for the first time, I don't care if those seats are as dirty as mud.
When I put a foot on the first ladder to go up, the old man looked at me with an apologetic expression, "I am so sorry, I didn't see you"
Of course you didn't see me because you were so concentrated to reach all the notes in 'sorry'.
"Yeah, whatever"
I walked through the long and thin space trying to find an empty spot but unfortunately, all of them were occupied.
There was a seat on the back but when I was about to walk on its direction the bus passed through a pothole and made me fall on the ground of the bus. I was thankful when I fell down and not backwards because then, it would have been such a horrible memory.
It's official, the driver hates me.
Maybe I said the song comment out loud . . .
Oops
When I stood up fixing my dress, I noticed the empty seat was next to another one already occupied by the one and only, Allan Matthews.
Great, he just saw that embarrassing moment.
I huffed and walked to the empty space sitting down with a leg over the other one and arms crossed acting like nothing happened.
"Psst,"
I didn't answer.
"Psst, Laura"
He now began to bother me when he kept on pocking me with his index finger on the shoulder.
"What the fuck do you want?" To clarify, it wasn't my intention but it's just that this day is starting to get worse each minute the clock is ticking and I just want it to go as quickly as possible because I am not going to get something good out of this.
He put his hands up in surrender, "Hey, I just wanted to know if you are okay. But I guess, you woke up from the left side of the bed"
