"So, why you two were late to the second period?" Ava asked smirking pointing with two of his fingers at Allan and I. Don't mind her, she is just one of those fan girls everyone has as friends.
And can come up with the most silliest hypothesis. She has always been that friend who always ships you with whatever boy you seem to talk. Like this one, She said Allan and I were going to end up together because when it's meant to be destiny will be calling at the door of your house.
Whatever, Ava.
And even though it would be awesome if he feels the same way towards me, it wouldn't happen.
The reason may you want
The reason is a girl.
A girl Allan had liked since they were little but she never payed attention to him. She is beautiful. Way prettier than me.
"Uh, Mrs Gomez wanted to talk to me so I asked Allan if he could wait until I finished," I said taking a seat next to my blonde friend, Eleanor.
After some minutes of talking, Allan stood up from his seat. "I will get some lunch, do you want anything?" he asked me before heading off to the short line.
I forced a smile, "No, thanks"
No, I am lying.
I am really hungry that I think I could eat an entire bouffette from the richest hotel here in Lost Angeles.
Allan hold an 'you aren't going to fool me' look. I knew he wasn't convinced by my answer, he knows me better to know that lunch if my favorite part of school.
His smile was longer gone, "I don't care if you are hungry or not, I am going to bring you food for you to eat the whole thing, like it or not" I sighed knowing I wasn't going to win this argument with him but on other hand, I was grateful he insisted on bringing me food because I feel like I am going to faint any moment.
When Allan was gone, brown haired guy spoke up, "But you can't deny the fact that you two really act like one," Ethan stated putting a French fry on his mouth. He is part of the football team too, and one of Allan's best friends.
My mouth hung open acted as if I am surprised, "No, we not! we are just really close friends" I said playing my fingers ignoring the sensation on my chest.
"Well, I heard a new guy is going to attend the school" Harper said changing the topic, which I am thankful. Maybe she noticed the tension when nobody said anything else after that.
A thing about Harper, her personality it's just awesome and her smile can light up the whole room. She is the friend everyone ask.
The moment Harper's words were out, Eleanor's not so quite gasp was heard, "Harper! I can't believe you didn't tell me earlier, how could you think I would let the new student see me like this? I am such a disaster" Eleanor half yelled and started to desperately find something in her bag. She then took out her make-up from the bag and started to applied lipgloss on her upper lip.
This girl.
It's not new, though. She has always been like this.
I rolled my eyes at her exaggerating over the littlest things, "Eleanor, girl," she stopped putting lipgloss and looked at me, "We don't exactly know how he is, he could be either a guy full of himself or just a nerd with brackets and glasses. And, he is going to be here tomorrow." Ellie frowned and put the lipgloss back on her bag.
