My eyes searched everywhere Allan could be but he was nowhere in sight. Don't tell me that piece of shit left without me.

When I was about to walk away because I couldn't find Allan anywhere, two strong arms placed themselves on my waist and lift me up off the ground to spin me around. I let out a squeak at the beginning for the unexpected act.

"You scared me!" I exclaimed when he put me down back on the ground.

"That was the point, duh" he said smirking with a obvious face.

"Yeah, yeah but not when I am in crisis" I said adjust my blouse that had lifted up when he was spinning me a while ago.

"Uh oh, a broken nail?" Allan acted surprised putting both of his hands on his cheeks and with wide eyes, "It's the end of the world"

I laughed at his ridiculousness shaking my head, "No, it's not from a broken nail. But maybe, just maybe, I won't be able to graduate" at the end, my voice was lower hoping he didn't catch what I said but unfortunately, he did.

"What? Laura, we've been studying together. Your grades were progressing and you have been concentrating more. What happened?" we had already stopped walking and now we were face to face, which is a little bit more difficult to tell him.

I looked at my feet playing with them not wanting to meet his gaze, "Laura?"

"It's just that, I have been really stressed and when my parents are home is difficult to concentrate by their really loud shouting. Almost at the end of high school, it's even more-" I was starting to ramble when his index finger was placed on my lips to make me shut up.

I haven't even notice the two tears on the edge of my eyes when he wiped them of with his thumb.

"Hey, calm down. What subject?"

"Biology"

He smiled, "What about, we make another study date. In my house, tomorrow, okay?"

"yeah,"

It was lunch, and we were walking together to the cafeteria side by side. That was until his hand found its way to my waist and pulled me to his chest and I had no other option but to hug his torso so I wouldn't be uncomfortable.

Oh yeah, about this. It's something normal to us, normal to everyone who has ever seen us act this way. People who doesn't know us sometimes ask if we are together or say things like 'you two made such an adorable couple'

Which, I have notice, Allan doesn't like.

He only sees me as his best friend. Nothing more, nothing else.

But I, on the other hand, doesn't bother me at all. In fact, I would hug everyone that believe we are a couple but that would make me a very awkward person. More than I already am.

When we reached the cafeteria, its seats weren't full like any other day instead most of them were empty which is weird considering everyone needs to eat something this time of the day.

Since there wasn't many people like it should be, finding a spot wasn't that difficult. Later some of my friends joined us in that table and that led to an endlessly conversation.
