School = Prision

In just a couple of minutes, I was at the entrance of the school watching how many students greeted each other or just sat there studying for their next test they had that day. I, instead, went directly to my locker putting the combination and opening it to take my books out from the first period and from the second one, just because.

I then started to walk to biology that is just seconds away.

Yay, biology.

I hope you caught the hint of sarcasm I put on that single sentence. Well, it isn't the best subject but it isn't the worst either. But I would never be excited to listen to the same boring topics the teacher always talks.

The feeling of getting to know what time it is, made me look at the watch on my left wrist.

8:00

Great, late again.

My feet moved a little bit faster but then I was completely running to class before that scary teacher lock the door and then detention is happily waiting. But even if I ran and won the championship, it's nearly impossible to get on time.

The moment I opened the door, all eyes of every single student on that classroom where on me totally forgetting the teacher's explanation of whatever she was talking about. Knowing her, about a plant.

Ugh, this kids nowadays. It's not your business, move on there's nothing to see here just a late girl with nothing but a messy hair and wrinkled clothes.

"Miss. Marano, you are late" Mrs Gomez said to me taking out her really ugly glasses and putting them above the page she was reading. Meet my biology teacher and the worst out of all I have ever had. She is always behind you checking if you are doing what she requested or just messing around in her class. Talking is forbidden, asking for a pencil isn't allowed, want to go to the bathroom? too bad, hold it.

She is always carrying a blue folder in which she could always put you points less next to your name by anything you do that is bad for her. Your future depends on that stupid blue folder. And that is maddening.

"I am sorry" I said to her secretly rolling my eyes at her. I made it obvious that I don't like her, so that fact you already know it. Now, anything you put me to choose between her and somethings else it's always going to win the other thing over her, no matter how bad it is.

"Sit next to Mr. Mathews" I nodded my head lightly with a face of disappointment of sitting next to the boy. The handsome boy.

But I was freaking out from the inside and smiling so big because I never really have the chance to sit next to him. He is always partners with his football mates or those cheerleaders that only want to get on his pants, because I am always late and never can sit on the spot next to him.

Allan Mathews, my secretly crush since we where in sophomore and apart from being my crush is my best friend too. He is always caring, not only for me, but for everyone in general. Doesn't matter if they were bad with him or not, he always finds a way to make those people feel better on their worst days.

Now, like every high school story, Allan is captain of the football team and the president of the chemical group.

Shocking, right?
