☠EDITED☠

I decided to update woooo

Hayden's POV:

"I'm confused. What does this mean?" I ask Jasmine.

"I don't know. Sounds like something illegal."

"What makes you think that?"

"Well, first off, they used letters, not names. So if someone found those notes, they couldn't actually confirm who it was. Also, why do private messages? Why not text? Obviously, because the police could go through records." She purses her lips, and continues to do homework.

"Well, okay. That makes sense. But, what could they have done? Also, I think the E is Eric. But why write notes while living together? Unless, this was while she was with my dad."

"What happened to your dad?" She asks.

"He, um, died. In a car accident."

"Oh," It goes silent. "Well, maybe they murdered him?" She teases.

"Not funny."

"Oh, sorry. But really. Why else?"

"I don't know! But this isn't a movie." I hiss.

"Well, maybe not."

"What would be their motive anyway?"

"They wanted to be together." Jasmine sits up straight.

"Why not just divorce him?"

"Good point. Maybe he wouldn't let them?"

"Maybe. But that's not a very good motive." I respond.

"Money?" She asks.

"No, according to my mom the money was her's."

"Bitches can lie." She shrugs, smiling.

I scoff, laughing. "Yeah, why would she though?"

*At School*

During science, Louis and I are paired up for a science project.

"You will all find a topic to do an experiment on." Mrs. Peterson explains.

I raise my hand, "On anything?"

"Yes, anything. You and your partner are allowed to do it on anything. And, you have four weeks to complete it."

I nod, and Louis turns to me. "What should we do it on?"

"I was thinking about testing Birthday Paradox?" I say, writing it down in my notebook.

"What's that?" He asks.

"Well, you see, in a room full of 23 people, I believe, there is a 50% two people have the same birthday. In a room full of 75, there is a 99.9% that two people have the same birthday." I ramble on, only now noticing Louis laughing.

"What?" I ask, pushing my hair behind my ear.

"You're too cute."

"Oh, thanks." My cheeks turn bright red.

"But, yeah let's do that! Sounds interesting to me."

"Sounds like a plan. Meet me at my house at about 5:00 on Friday to discuss it?"

"Yes, that sounds great." He smiles, his blue eyes full of excitement.
