[1] Days off

The guild doors opened to reveal a blonde Mage with a huge grin.

"Morning everyone!" She chirped breathing in the guilds air.

"Morning Lucy!" People called back before getting back to socializing and drinking. Lucy felt fresh after getting a goods night sleep. Today her and Natsu would pick out there first job since the grand magic games. Erza was chatting up the master at the bar well Gray was trying get away from Juvia. Wendy and Charla sat at a booth by themselves and Natsu and happy we're at the request board. Lucy decided to help them out.

"Hey guys!" Lucy chirped with a huge smile on her face.

They both turned around and cheered. "Hey Lucy!"

"Did you guys find a job yet?"

"Yes there is a bunch!" Happy chirped which made both mages smile. Well Natsu explained Erza and Wendy walked over.

"Good morning Lucy!" Wendy called smiling brightly.

"Morning Wendy, Erza." Lucy replied. "What's up?"

"We wanted to know if you wanted to tag along on a job with all of us." Erza explained well gray walked over.

"Sounds fun!" Natsu smirked and Lucy agreed.

"When are we going?" Happy asked starring at Charla.

"If you guys are ok now we can go once I tell Mira." Erza offered walking over to the bar.

"What is it about?" Gray asked taking the flyer.

"It's talking out a small dark guild. It says they're very powerful so the job asked for all of us." Wendy exclaimed.

"The reward?!" Lucy cheered think about how much that can cover rent.

"We will sort everything out later, the sooner we get there the better." Gray commented looking back to see Erza headed in their direction.

"All set." Erza smiled. "It's actually just a train ride away so there is no need for us to bring our stuff."

Natsu's face turned green. "T-train?!"

Everyone laughed and sighed. They decided to leave and headed towards the guilds main door.

"Natsu I swear if you puke on my shoes I'll kill you!" Gray exclaimed raising his legs. Lucy gave a genuine smile and Wendy giggled. Although the ride was mostly silent it wasn't awkward, it was just mages thinking about different things.

Finally someone spoke up. "What is this job about?" Lucy asked signaling  Erza.

"Just to take out a small group of wizards, though it says that there powerful." Erza replied reading the slip of paper.

"We'll be fine, we did just win the grand magic games!" Wendy cheered trying to brighten up the conversation.

"Don't get too cocky, we don't know their power." Charla warned giving a little sigh. "But your right, we might have the upper hand in this situation."

"We got this." Gray smirked.

The train started to slow down to there destination. The slower it went the more Natsu came down to earth. When it was completely stopped he was the first one off. Everyone gazed at the beautiful town. Flowers lined the outsides if the houses and the people were selling goods and chatting. The little boys played the ball and the girls picked flowers for their mothers. Merchants showed off there marvelous treasures that stunned the eye of many.

"Wow!" Wendy cheered smiling brightly.

"This is amazing!" Happy chirped, "I wonder, do you think this place has any yummy fish?!"

"We have to find out, let's go happy!" Natsu exclaimed his mouth watering.

"Let's all meet back here before sundown." Erza explained almost wander off herself.

Everyone agreed and set off in different directions.

It seemed that all of the mages were doing separate things. Lucy walked around admiring the magical shops and lights well Wendy and Charla ate ice cream and watched a puppet show in the square. Gray admired the ice sculptures and almost tried to show up the maker. Erza looked for new armor well Natsu and happy ate to their hearts content.

Everything was peaceful.

It was almost sundown, everyone was finishing up there activities. Wendy and Charla were the first to arrive at the meeting spot followed by Erza and Lucy. Gray followed soon after with Natsu and happy. Everyone had smiles on their faces with new memories in their mind.

"I found a small inn across town, we should stay there for the night." Erza explained facing the roads direction. "We can talk about what we did on the way."

Everyone agreed and followed the red haired Mage. The town was much quieter then you would think at night. Then sun had just set over the mountains and street lights lit up the fairy tails mages path. In the distance you could here the bars still open and lively. The warm smell of pastries had been replaced with fresh cool air. Everyone chatted about their day and the most exotic parts. Before they knew it the inn was in front of them.

"I'll check us in." Lucy offered heading into the small building. Everyone else was about to head in when they heard a scream about a block away.

"What was that?" Gray asked confused.

"I don't know but, it sounds like something happened." Natsu explained.

"Let's go check it out." Erza demanded and started running in the direction.

"What about Lucy?" Wendy exclaimed taking in breaths.

"Lucy come on!" Natsu yelled back hoping she heard them. Taking caution he left a trail of fire behind for her.

They ran until they reached the sight. Three mages stood before them. The tallest one was a man, his hair blonde and messy. He wore a grey jacket with a black shirt and black pants. The second was a woman with light purple hair, she looked about the fairy tail mages age. She wore a black cloak and had a sword in hand. The third was a man that looked about the same age. His black hair drifted over one eye but you could see a scar hidden. The blonde man held a girl that looked 15. Her hair was a dark brown that was put in a high ponytail. Her dress was tattered and her skin full of cuts.

"What are you doing?!" Wendy called out in a frantic manner.

The mages looked back. "Who are you...?" Asked the women.

"We're mages from fairy tail." Natsu scolded. "What are you doing with that girl."

"Fairy tail mages, huh?" The man called back.

"Yea."

The man dropped the girl. "So, fairy-tail mages..." He paused and smirked.

"That means you know the girl, Lucy Heartfilla."
