Like a crown for a king
It is an honorNot just names on medal
They aren't a disgrace,
No matter their
ReasonIt's a pride like no other to bare
These simple tagsThose who wear them are
Not just 'attack dogs'
They serve and protect,
Free our world is keptSafe from pain,
We throw harsh names
They deserve better,
Show some respectThey might not have slept
Hours, days, weeks, monthsLife goes on and yet,
We take it for granted
