Like a crown for a king
It is an honor
Not just names on medal
They aren't a disgrace,
No matter their
Reason
It's a pride like no other to bare
These simple tags
Those who wear them are
Not just 'attack dogs'
They serve and protect,
Free our world is kept
Safe from pain,
We throw harsh names
They deserve better,
Show some respect
They might not have slept
Hours, days, weeks, months
Life goes on and yet,
We take it for granted
