2 weeks later I had my surgery and healed. Now it's time to test my voice. Even if I can't talk or sing I'll be ok now, I have Jake, and I'm not scared anymore. Air floods my lungs as I prepare to speak. " Hello. OH MY GOD I CAN TALK I CAN TALK YES WOOHOO YEAH." I jumped around the room like an idiot but I didn't care "ok ok let's see if I can sing, .... Do Re Me Fa So LA Ti Do YEEEEP YES I CAN SING YEAH YES HAHAHA !! !" I began to laugh and continued to look like an idiot but I still couldn't care less.
Next thing I know 3 weeks have passed and I'm at my 'welcome back' concert. the fake sun shines on me as I move out to center stage adjusting my new wireless headset, after the fire Mr. Buck thought that it would be best to get rid of the cord and mic all together. I had just finished my third song when I see Jake walk on stage What's wrong? I've never seen Jake walk on stage before 'cause of his stage fright I didn't think he ever would. I stand there lost in thought when I see Jake drop to one knee in front of me.
"Eliza Drake I love you more and I need you more than the moon needs the sun. Will you marry me?" he asked looking deep into my eyes , it was as if he was staring into my soul. I could feel tears come to my eyes as they threatened to spill. I covered my hand with my mouth as I whispered yes. Jake slowly took my left hand in his and slid a sparkling diamond ring onto my finger. A single tear slipped unchecked past my guard as he rose and engulfed me in a tight embrace and whispered into my ear I love you once more.
