Getting out the car, there was a long line in front of the club waiting to get in. The club sign read "40/40". Great, some club I have no knowledge about. I just hoped that it wasn't depressing, because not every club is always what its cracked up to be.
"There's Bree over there" I said to Symone pointing through the parking lot at a light- skinned girl dressed in a tight black dress with two other girls standing with her. She waved her hands trying to get our attention not knowing that I already saw her. We walked over to her passed all the car in the parking lot.
"Hey girl! You look cute with your curly natural going on." I pulled her into a hug before stepping back to observe her.
"You too I've been searching for knee high boots." She turned and then looked back to me "These are my friends Alina and Lorie" She said introducing us. I gave them both hugs before introducing Symone to the group.
"Well, y'all ready to get this turn up started? I know the bouncer so we don't have to wait in line and also we get in free, because it's ladies night" Bree explained to us as she closed her car door.
"Yes girl, I knew I liked you!" Bree laughed as we walked to the line. Standing at the front of the line was a big Caucasian man dressed in all black that smiled as he looked Bree up and down. Bree whispered something to him and he nodded before she gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Old friend, I'm guessing?" Symone whispered to me. I shrugged my shoulders as I followed Bree and her friends inside.
When we got inside we got escorted to a table that was near the dance floor which was perfect, because I knew once I got my buzz going I would be on the dance floor. I was excited to get some drinks and start my night. I was gonna let loose tonight.
J.R:
Club 40/40 was live tonight, women everywhere, everyone on the dance floor, and the music wasn't disappointing either. I was really enjoying myself here with my boys, Marquelle and Freddy. I took a sip of my beer as I rocked my body to "Truffle Butter". As I observed the dance floor, I noticed a girl who looked very familiar.
It was her.
It was Melanie.
The last person I expected to see tonight was here shaking her ass on the dance floor. She looked so sexy, I could just snatch her up right now in front of everyone. I looked at my boys, who were both occupied by a pair of twins, as I set my empty bottle on the bar. I made my way over to her putting my hand on her lower back as I approached her. Melanie stopped dancing and looked up at me, our eyes meeting told that she was tipsy.
She embraced me with a hug, she was beautiful and her perfume was the same one that she knew I loved. She started to dance with me as the music blared throughout the club.
"I'ma let you know and keep it simple. Tryna keep it up, don't seem so simple. I just fucked two bitches before I saw you, you gone have to do it at my tempo. Always tryna send me off to rehab, drugs start to feeling like it's decaf. I'm just tryna live life for the moment, and all these motherfuckers want a real love"
The Weeknd had her body moving just right. I grabbed onto her hips as our bodies caught the rhythm and grinding together in sync. I let my hands explore her body as I grabbed onto her thighs as we danced. It felt as if everyone had disappeared, and it was just us on the dance floor alone. I wanted to just lay her down right there in the middle of the dance floor.
"Hills have eyes, the hills have eyes. Who are you to judge, who are you to judge? Hide your lies, girl, hide your lies. Only you to trust, only you"
I moved her hair from her neck and softly laid a kiss on it. It triggered a reaction, but it wasn't the reaction I was hoping for. She then ran off while burying her face in her hands. I ran after her wondering what the issue was. She ran all the way outside of the club and I caught up with her when we reached the parking lot. I wasn't sure what was going on with her, everything seemed like it was a just a perfect moment between us, but I guess she didn't think so
"Melanie" I called out her name grabbing her hand and making her stop to turn to me. All of a sudden I felt a sharp pain on my cheek.
She slapped me.
"Fuck you Jay, I hate you." She screamed at me with tears falling from her eyes. I grabbed my cheek in surprise as I watched her get into her car and speed off. I looked around noticing that some people were staring, which made my anger flare. Getting into my car I sped off out of the parking lot, almost getting in an accident. I didn't know where I was going, I just knew that a lot was going through my head.
I pulled up to an apartment building and got out of my car. Walking up the stairs and to the front door I put my keys into my pocket and knocked on it. After a few moments, Krystal opened the door wearing a silk robe tied around her body.
"J.R do you know what-" I interrupted her sentence as I barged through the door and pushed her up against the wall behind her as our lips locked. I picked her up as she wrapped her legs around me then I kicked the door closed behind me.
