Contest #1 - What a Disaster!

Prompt:

We're searching for the best short story on a disaster that turned out to be a life changing moment!

For this contest think The Wedding Planner where Mary gets her heel stuck and is rescued by Dr. Steve Edison, or that pivotal moment in Bride Wars when Liv and Emma find out there's only one wedding day available for their wedding venue

Only one submission, per person, will be accepted.

All entries must be less than ten thousand words, and must be completed at the time of the contest end date.

We will not accept fan fiction stories. We have nothing against fan fiction, but this is a ChickLit contest and we aim to promote original ChickLit stories. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.

What do I win?

- The top three submissions will be added to our Contest reading list.

- The grand prize winner will get a Writer Interview, and a shout out on our official social media profiles.
