Elena's pov:

I opened my eyes and there stood in front of me Stefan and Caroline. "omg omg omg you're really here. You're really back. I missed you so much" typical Caroline but I missed her so much. Stefan just stood there not moving, I guess that's the reaction you see on people when you've been sleeping for decades. I called him "Stefan" he moved towards me and hugged me not really finding the strength to form anywords. Then he said "I can't believe you're here, I missed you Elena"

"I can't believe I am back, I missed you too guys" thousand questions were on my mind I couldn't stop asking them "where's everybody? How long has it been?" Stefan answered me while Caroline still busy crying "it's been 60 years, they'd all be thrilled to know you're back" then a thought came to my mind made me sad "Stefan, if I am awake does that mean that Bonnie is.." I didn't need to finish this sentence and by the look on his face it seems that I am right. "she passed away a couple of hours ago" "I hate that I didn't get to say goodbye"

"don't worry Elena, she wasn't alone and she lived the life you hoped for her and in the end she had her family by her side." when Stefan said family that made me wondered if this family has new additions "family!!" this tiMe Caroline spoke up "Yes Elena, her and Jeremy married and they had their son Jason who is also married and has kids" this made me happy for her and I was happy hearing my brother's name "how is Jeremy?" Caroline said "he's back home, he must be waiting for you now" Stefan then said "hey girls, how about we talk about all this on the way back home"
