I grabbed my two year old daughters hand and walked outside into the New York City air. Her face immediately lit up when she saw how pretty everything was for the third time this week. I took one step at a time until she made it on the same step as me, ready for today's adventures. She giggled when I grabbed her underneath her underarms and lifted her up in the air and onto the concrete sidewalk. I reunited my hand with hers and led her through the walking traffic, careful that I wouldn't lose her in the process. Once I made it in front of the building I bent down to Ava's level and brushed her curly shoulder length hair away from her face. She giggled again when her hair brushed her nose, causing her to sneeze. I pulled a tissue out of my jacket pocket and wiped her nose. After I finished, she held out her hand and said, "mommy, can I give it to daddy, pwease." I giggled at her kind gesture but refused to hand it to her, knowing Harry would be disgusted.

"How about instead of giving him a dirty, used tissue... you give him a big hug and a kiss." I said and opened the door for her to enter in first. She hopped through the lobby and to the front desk, squealing everytime she almost fell over. I smiled at my little bundle of joy and told Mrs. Vinder I was here to see Harry. She smiled and gave Ava a lollipop.

"Of course, I know he's excited to see the both of you. It's all he talks about is the both of you. He's a very lucky man." She said and answered the phone that had been ringing for the past thirty seconds.

I mouthed, "Thank you," to her and led myself and Ava through the halls. She giggled when I would twirl her around. "Come on, Lovebug. Daddy should be in his office." She squealed and let go of my hand to run to his office.

When she opened the door, her smile immediately left and her face was filled with tears. I ran after her but Harry was quick to grab her. "It's okay, baby girl, you're okay." I jogged over to both Ava and Harry to see what she was crying about. When I opened the door wider I couldn't believe my eyes myself. The office was beautifully decorated into her favorite colors, orange and green. Which was also mine and Harry's favorite colors. "Lovebug, what's wrong?" Harry asked when I walked over to comfort her.

"I missed you daddy. I had a present for you but mommy wouldn't let me give it to you." She cried and nuzzled her head into his neck. He chuckled and began to rock her back and forth.

"What was the present, sweet girl?" He asked when she stopped crying.

"It was my used boogie." She said and she almost began to cry again but Harry stopped her from doing so when he kissed both her eyelids.

"How about you give me a kiss instead?" He asked and puckered his lips. She immediately smiled and smacked both of his cheeks. She then squeezed them together to make his lips pucker more before she kissed him back. "Now, let's have the birthday girl have the best party, yeah? Let's go, Princess Ava." He said and let her down gently. She ran to the cake and shoved both of her hands in one side of it.

"I thought we would've learned by now not to set the cake so close to her." I chuckled and wrapped my arms around Harry's neck. He looked down at me and gave me a kiss on the lips. I nuzzled my head in his neck to get a whiff of his scent. I placed small kisses on his neck and then pulled away when Ava screamed.

Harry and I were quick to turn around to see what was wrong. I chuckled when I saw her opening up one of her presents and revealing that it was a stuffed horse. She wrapped it in her arms and held it tight.

"Baby girl, let's save the presents for last." Harry said and picked her up as everyone began to enter his office to celebrate the rest of Ava's birthday.
