Melodies POV
I made my way out of the small forest and over to where the boys told me to meet them . As I came nearer to where they were I saw a giant Bon fire and a table with a large bowl of some type of drink in it and all the boys were waiting there with looks of satisfaction on there faces . Just as I arrived they all turned around " what is all this??" I asked " this is for you it's sort of a welcome party type thing" Gally replied " aww thank you all of you I really appreciate it this is one of the nicest things someone's ever done for me .." " or at least that I can remember" I said and they all chuckled . " well welcome to the glade Mel" said Newt " I mean if you prefer Melodie we can call you that but uh yeah we just thought it would be easier " Newt stated looking a bit awkward 'Mel' I thought " I like it " I said they all looked a lot less awkward after I stated that I liked the nickname " well then let's get this party started!" Frypan shouted with enthusiasm
**time skip**
after a long night of partying witch ended when the last ember of the Bon fire went out we all headed back to our hammocks " thank you for tonight all of you " I said " welcome Mel " they replied " night " I said as I drifted off to sleep nut I recall hearing a faint " goodnight Melodie" before my eyelids grew heavy and I was asleep .
