*Emily*

I hear the front door open and the sound of Noah and Tyler making airplane noises float through the house. My boys are here.

They reach the living room and all attack me. I hug them, talk to them and kiss them.

They still haven't met their little sister and at the moment she is sleeping but she'll be up soon.

"Hey," Jason awkwardly sits on the rocking chair across from me.

"Hi," I mumble, knowing he is staring at the pen and papers that still lie out on the coffee table. I clear my throat and stand up when I hear Audrey's cries, "your sister is up, guys."

"I wanna see! I wanna see!" They all jump up to follow me.

"Shh... Wait here with Daddy, I'll go get her okay?"

They nod and I walk to the small bedroom that is beside of Jason and I's.

"Hi baby girl," I smile and pick her up - supporting her head while doing so, "your bubbies wanna see you."

She just kicks her legs, not really knowing how to coo or do anything else. She defiantly knows how to cry for what she wants though.

I re-enter the living room and sit down in the couch, all of the boys surrounding me.

"She looks like you mommy!" Kyler smiles and rubs her hair back and forth.

"She does, doesn't she?" I question and move my eyes to Jason for just a second to see him smiling at her.

"Yeah!" Noah cheers loudly making her jump and start crying.

"Shh Shh Shh," I coo and hold her head against my shoulder as I lightly pat her butt and bounce her, "shhhhh."

She stops and brings her hands up to her mouth to chew on them. Her eyes meet Jason's and she kicks her feet, feeling a connection with him already.

"Do...you wanna hold her?" I ask and hold her out slightly.

He stands up and nods, "hi," he smiles at her when he sits back down in the chair with her in his arms, "you're so beautiful," he whispers.

I gather the boys and take them out back, "let's play tag," I jump up and down like a little kid.

"Mommies it!"

"Hey! That's not fair!" I cross my arms and pout.

They all ignore me and start running, "RUN!"

I chase after them and laugh when I touch Kyler's shoulder, but he quickly touches Noah making Noah mad and go back for Kyler.

Boys....shake my head.

*Jason*

I watch out the window as Emily plays tag with the boys in the dark.

"You'll be able to do that someday," I look down at Audrey and see that she's already sleeping again, "you really do look just like your mom."

I look up and see Emily seperating Noah and Kyler. They have been fighting a lot. Maybe I should just call if the divorce? Emily seems to have woken up. She seems to have woken up. Maybe all I needed to do was make a 'little' move to show her I'm not scared to do it.

I think it's safe to come home now.

But do I really want to?

I look down at Audrey and consider my options; she deserves a father.

But she'll still have me.

Not all of the time like she needs to, though. I need my family back. Emily wants her family back.

I need to talk to her without having sex. This is important and a serious matter.

I watch as they all scramble back into the house and Emily takes them to bed. I stayed in the living room, just rocking Audrey. I don't want to put her down.

She's all of the sudden my everything.

What was the point in putting both Emily and I through all of this pain the other day when I'm just gonna come running back? Why did I do that to her?

But then again, why did she do everything she did?

Emily re-entered the living room and sat down.

"Emily, I need to talk to you-"

"I'm sorry the divorce papers haven't been signed yet. I've tried many times but...I just couldn't bring myself to do it-"

"Emily-"

"You know what? Here," she leans forward and grabs the pin. She quickly signs the papers making me jump forward and rip the papers from her.

I stare into her eyes as I rip the divorce papers in half, "listen," I lightly whisper - Audrey now in her car seat.

"We don't have to get a divorce. I just need time to get back to where we were-"

"It's fine Jason. It's best for everyone - for me."

"But I don't want this," I motion between us with a pointer finger, "I don't want a divorce because I need you and the kids need us together."

"I know but we just don't get along," she looks in my eyes.

"We hit a bump in the road. Love conquers all, Emily."

"Love conquers all," she whispers with a smile.

"Gimme a kiss," I mutter and let her sit in my lap. I rest my hands on her hips as her lips lap over mine.

"I never meant to get out of control," she cries now.

"Shh," I whisper and wipe her tears with the pads of my thumbs, "I know. I love you."

"I love you too," see sighs and rests' her hands on my chest, "so much."

"I know," I smile an kiss her again, "I can't get enough of your lips," I laugh into her lips.

"Same..." She smiles as stands up. She looks down at Audrey and laughs, "she looks just like me while awake but she defiantly looks like you while sleeping."

I look down at her and smile, "yeah."

"Thank you," Emily is looking at me now.

"Why, baby?"

"For giving me a third chance."

"It's no problem baby-"

"But it is jason. I've done you so wrong and I really don't deserve to be sitting here talking to you right now. I deserve to sit alone and cry while you go and have fun with our children. You showed how much you love me everyday and I always blew it off; that was so wrong of me."

"You're better now Emily."

"I know," she smiled with a new set of tears in her eyes, "and I'm going to make everything up to you."

A:N - do you think Emily is better?!
