I was rushing for school
Time was running against me
So I head off without
Breakfast
Math homework
Tiffin
And the yet to be plucked
Hair under my chin
I was greeted by him
He was leaning against my locker
Waiting for me
He smiled his dazzling pearls
And leaned in to kiss me
His hand cupped my face
Until they brushed against my chin
And he moved back
And said
'Is there something on your chin?'
Horror filled my entire being
But an excuse did too
'It's probably a pimple'
And he bought it
And we walked off to class
While I dreaded the future of this was
To continue.
