Christmas

Tinsel and mistletoe is found in every home,
Presents are lying in paper under the pines,
The children hang up their stockings with care,
The carols are sung with one pressing the keys of the piano,
The service is had at the church,
To be with loved ones,  soldiers come home,
People lace a star atop the tree,
The remember the one whom was born that night,
The one who came to save us from destruction,
The new whose birthday we celebrate every December twenty-fifth,
We remember Christ Jesus.
It is now the Christmas season.
Merry Christmas!
