So, I decided that I was going to put on this chapter, mainly because it was really fun writing it. Thanks for those who have read and stuff. Vote, comment, become a fan and all that jazz. Oh, and I don't own the song or some of the characters in the story.

The ones I do own, well... they are mine. Obviously.

Happy reading.

"Aera, what was with that?" Sara said to me after we exited the cafeteria on our way to the high school.

"I have no idea. He grabbed my arm and thought that I was someone that he used to know. It was totally weird." I was still trying to figure him out. The way he acted was strange, like he was from a different time period or something. I wasn't quite sure about trusting him or not quite yet.

"Well, whatever it was, it was hot." Kenzie quickly added with a giggle.

"Yeah!" Sara exclaimed grabbing my arm as we walked. She was always one to be mildly hyper. I laughed at them.

"Guys, he's a senior, and were juniors, it's not going to happen. I'm not saying it couldn't just saying that it won't. Like he said, he probably just thought that I was someone else." I rolled my eyes acting like it was nothing, but something deep inside of me wanted it to be something.

"Well if you don't want him, I do." Kenzie said, laughing as a group of freshman walked by us, staring. We walked to the high school, and were sitting in the library with all the other juniors, and we were listening to them talk about Damon as well. We would catch bits and pieces of conversations like, "Did you see him?"

"He looks older than us."

"Gorgeous."

When living in a small town, and there only being roughly 200 kids in the school, things would tend to get around quickly. Then, Kenzie went and tried to make it look like we were cool and blurted out, "Yeah, well, he kissed Aera's hand, and said he was charmed. When she introduced him to us he just smiled."

To me, it was very random, and strange, but the embarrassment was all the same. This was like a mental death sentence for me. It was totally embarrassing. Everyone stopped talking and looked at me. I was so embarrassed; all I could do was laugh shyly. I was blushing on every spot on my body.

I nudged Sara, as a sign of wanting to leave. As we walked up the library steps to the lockers, I could hear the whispers start. I went to grab my math book and walked back to Sara, to see that Kenzie was there.

"How could you do that to me? Now they're all going to think I'm like, a slut or something." I wanted to burry myself in a pile of dirt and just wait there until it was all over. The gossip would surely last for at least a week or so. Never the less, it would be a week of questions and accusing looks. I glanced towards the lobby, right as Damon and Eric walked in. I quickly averted my eyes and stared at my friends.

"Well, I hated the fact that Erica was already planning how to get him." she confessed. She looked upset, and I could tell she was sorry.

"She was?" I shouldn't have been surprised though. Erica was always planning on how to 'get' someone. It was like an animal stalking its prey, it was mildly creepy. Then again, so was she.

"Yeah, I was standing right next to her and Jessica." Mackenzie gestured over towards the crowd staring at us from below.

"Ugh," I rolled my eyes and put my hand on my hip. Luckily the bell rang for us to go to class. Everyone walked to their lockers as I hung my head in shame and trudged on down the hall to math class. During the course of the day, I was getting stares, and points, and giggles from all around me. Nobody has a life in a small town, they all talk about the same thing. It was all I could do not too turn around and ask them what their problems were. That, unfortunately, would have just caused more of an acceleration of rumors about me. They were probably very stupid ones at that.
