Ridhima was standing in the parking with her friends ready to leave for home when armaan came there getting attention of girls " ridhima mujhe kuch baat karni thi" Ridhima turn towards him "hain armaan bolo kya hua" Armaan looked over to the girls and spoke "guys can I borrow ridhima for few moments". Muskaan replied to him saying "yeah...!! Sure you guys carry on." Armaan thanked them and Armaan took ridhima with him asking girls that he will drop ridhima home they can make a move. Hearing armaan girls left for home while ridhima make a move with armaan. After moving till his bike armaan stopped facing ridhima with hesitation armaan spoke "ridhima vo mein...!!" seeing his hesitation ridhima spoke "kya hua armaan...??" Armaan looked in her eyes "Ridhima I wanted to serve our country to save our countryman, our nation can... can I join in...?" Asked armaan with so much hope and hesitation but then ridhima's eyes got filled with tears. Armaan got panicked "rid... Ridhima please tum.. Tum ro maat... mein... Mein nahi join karunga... please tum ro mat.... See mein ne form bhi phaad (tear) kar diya..." spoke armaan tearing away the form that he have brought to get him register once getting ridhima's agreement to let him in. Ridhima looked up towards armaan's teary eyes. Ridhima moved towards armaan disposing the gap between them and cupped his face in between her palms making armaan look in her eyes. "Armaan please ek promise karogey" listening to her armaan nodded immediately "armaan kabhi bhi un army officer's ki tarah nahi baoge tum jinke andar koi family feeling hoti bhi hain toh vo dikhate nahi hain. Armaan mujhe koi problem nahi hain tum agar army join karna chahate ho par Wada karo ki mujhe jindagi mein akela chod kar nahi jaoge...!!" armaan tried to speak something but ridhima cut him in between "mein jaanti hun army mein jaa kar life ka koi bharosa nahi hain... par mein us life ki baat kar rahi hun jitni bhi tum jiyoge... promise karo ki jitni bhi life hogi tum mera sath bitaoge aur waise hi Jaise aab bitate ho... mein akele pan mein aapni life nahi bitana chahati... tum aise hi rahoge ghar aane ke baad. Aise hi normal time be-time har kaam karna kabhi waqt ka hisab nahi rakhoge ghar aa kar Jaise tumhe army mein rakhna hoga... kabhi aapne aapko mujhse ya kisi bhi family member se emotionally detach nahi hoge... sab se aise hi attached rahoge Jaise aabhi ho... agar tum ye Wada kar sakte ho toh mein tumhe kabhi bhi nahi rokungi army join karne ke liya." Armaan fumble on his words "mein... mein ... ridhima..." ridhima know armaan was over whelmed with ridhima's agreement so ridhima just hugged armaan pulling him to herself. Armaan hugged her back and cleared his ears still hugging her when ridhima spoke in his ears without parting from him "Armaan jante ho mujhe dukh nahi hoga par hain tumhare liya dar laga rahega apne liya ki pata nahi kounsa pal tumhare saath akhir hoga.. par armaan us dar se kahin jayada vo proud hoga mujhe tum par ki mera armaan apne desh ke liya aapni jaan bhi de sakta hain. Aur Tumhari khushi ke aage meri koi bhi khushi nahi hain.... Tumhe aapni country ko serve kar ke jo khushi milega vo Sirf tumhare face par nahi mera face par bhi dikhegi tumhe aur vo proud jo tumhe hoga usse kahin jayada mujhe hoga."
Armaan parted from her wiped his tears while sniffing ridhima wiped his cheek clearing the tears that flowed earlier. Armaan then once again hugged her making her smile proudly. Then ridhima asked "armaan ghar mein sab maan gaye...?" armaan nodded his head making ridhima confuse, to clear her confusion he said "Mein ne aabhi ghar par pucha nahi hain.. vo pehle tumse...!!" ridhima smiled at his words know what he meant to say that was left in cliff. Ridhima then pulled armaan away from the paring towards the college office "kya hua. Kahan le ja rahi ho." Just to get reply "chalo toh". Soon both of them reached the office reception armaan keep standing behind her while ridhima asked the reception women "Ma'am please issue me one form for the army entrance test" armaan looked at her while ridhima knew he was looking at her with surprise still she keep filling the formalities.
Then before submitting the form ridhima made a turn and give partially filled form to armaan saying "Ye lo... tum pehle form le kar aaye the ki mein fill karun tumhare liya aur so I can get all courage to say the truth out so here you go. Jaise tum chahate the mein ne fill kar diya aab bus guardian signature rah Gaye hain. Vo mom dad se karwana padegi tumhe." Armaan knew she knew him very well to get his actions in one go. "Tum mom dad ko... I mean can u help me..." armaan knew it's going to be difficult for him alone to convince his family but seeking the help of his ridhima he knew they will agree after little fuss but if he will give a try without her they will directly decline his words strictly without any second thinking over them. Ridhima too knew it would be difficult for him to make his family ready for this so she too accompanied him for convincing them.

As it was said they do agree after fussing little but only when ridhima butt in they have agreed. Armaan went to drop ridhima home after evening snacks, ridhima invite him in and he too moved in with her. Ridhima went to freshen up a little while Armaan saw padma in kitchen he went in to greet her, touching her feet he wished her and then asked padma to call shashank papa from study he want to talk with them. Padma asked what's it's about but armaan asked her to call him first. Soon both of them were there armaan spoke to them expressing his desire for being army man... armaan told them that ridhima and his parents have agreed to him being the army man when asked about his parent's agreement. Armaan was waiting for them to give their view when ridhima descended from stairs. Ridhima asked "kya hua... aap sab chup kyun bethe hain." Padma and shashank share a glance at each other and then ridhima. Padma moved towards ridhima caring her hairs she spoke "tune heera chuna hain ridhima" ridhima blushed to hear that but then controlling her blush she asked "kyun maa kya hua aachanak". "Kuch nahi hua... tera armaan hum se permission le raha hain ki kya vo army join kar sakta hain." Ridhima moved her eyes from Padma's face towards armaan's face that was looking towards them only. "Armaan" ridhima called out to get reply from shashank instead of armaan "humein koi aitraaz nahi hain armaan. Par khushi is baat ki hain ki aapne hum se permission lena jaruri samjha." Armaan looked at shashank then then spoke "jaruri toh tha hi na papa. Har parents aapni beti ke liya kuch sapne dekte hain uske life partner ke liya... aur jab mein aur ridhima ek dusre se pyaar karte hain toh aap dono ki permission bhi utni hi jaruri thi jitni mom dad ki..." padma left ridhima's hand and moved towards him, pulling armaan's face down padma kissed his forehead giving him all the blessings.
