Jack stood impatiently behind the door of Alex's house, waiting for him to figure out how to unlock the god damn door and just get inside already. 'My soulmate is so dumb. I would've had the door unlocked by now. Can't be pretty and smart, can you?' Jack thought to himself.
"Aha!" Alex grinned in victory, walking inside the house and throwing his keys down in a basket beside the door, kicking his shoes off and walking into the kitchen. Jack, bored, decided to just creep around the house. He went upstairs first, seeing Alex's room clean was a shock. Now, he hadn't known Alex long, but he figured he'd be the type to leave messes just about everywhere he went. Apparently, he was wrong. So he decided to check the drawers, assuming he wouldn't be coming up for a while, and seeing a bottle of pills. 'Pills? What does he need this for?'
Then he read the label.
Sertraline HCL.
He knew what it was.
Zoloft.
Anxiety meds.
'Poor kid must have some form of anxiety.'
He thought.
How could he know this, you may be asking?
Well, believe it or not, Jack was a pharmacist. When he was alive, at least. He knew a lot of medications. Simple as that.
He put the pill bottle back in the drawer and stood up, going downstairs and seeing Alex on the couch, feet propped up on the table, flipping through TV channels.
"Nobody would watch that.. Especially not me. The fuck even is that? Nope. Oh yeah what a smart idea, watch a movie about zombies while I'm eating, yea, really smart. Not." Alex muttered to himself. Jack couldn't help but smile, for some odd reason, he found it adorable that he would talk to himself. He didn't exactly know why, either. Everyone does it, right? So why does he find this cute?

Soulmate.
That word.
It came back up again.
He forgot.
Alex Gaskarth is his soulmate.
But he's never gonna meet him.
Jack shook his head, deciding to sit on the floor and just watch the boy as he ate, flipped through TV channels some more and yelled when someone on a certain show would do something he found very stupid.
Jack couldn't help but laugh when he did that.
So tiny, and yet so full of rage.
He smiled fondly at the younger man, realizing that, maybe this isn't too terrible after all.

(A/N Short chapter, I know, I know. I'm sorry. But I have a lot of stuff going on this week, so I just decided it'd be best to post this now while I can. Sorry if it made no sense, I'm really tired so oops. Comment what you thought of this chapter, maybe? Thank you!)
