"Tyler, get off me you fat turd!" I scream as Tyler pins me on the couch, tickling the crap out of me.

"This is what you get for scaring me,
Y/N!" Tyler laughs, continuing to tickle me.

The sound of a loud interrupting cough fills the room. Tyler stops tickling me and we both turn to Josh, who was standing at the other end of the couch.

Tyler, Josh, and I have been friends for a long time, and ever since we met, I have always had a crush on Josh.

Tyler and I were a bit closer, but only because I had known him longer.

"Guys, we're gonna miss the movie, c'mon," Josh grunts and grabs his jacket off from the counter, walking out the door with the keys in his hand.

Josh got in the driver's seat and Tyler and I hopped in the back. "To the theatre, sir." I say in a British accent to Josh jokingly.

Josh just sighs and begins to drive towards the local movie theatre.

Once we had gotten our tickets, I grab Tyler and Josh's hands, pulling them towards the snack bar.

"What do you guys what? I'll pay." Tyler offers while pulling out his wallet.

"Aww thanks Ty," I giggle, causing Josh to frown.

"Uh, no Tyler, you paid last time. It's my turn." Josh retorts grumpily snatching Tyler's wallet away from him and pulling out his own.

"Salty." I whisper in Tyler's ear, earning a chuckle.

Josh walks up to the snack bar. "What do you want?"

"Uhm, watermelon sour patch kids with a medium Sprite please." I say to Josh.

"I'll have a large popcorn, medium Coca Cola, and a box of peanut m&ms." Tyler replies, dragging me towards our room.

We sit down, saving Josh a seat next to me so I'm sitting in between them. Josh seemed to be acting weird today....

I ignore the thought and watch the commercials.

Josh soon returns with his arms full of snacks. I take mine and kiss his cheek playfully. "Thank you, Josh!"

Josh blushes. "You're welcome, Y/N." He seemed to be in a better mood now.

After the movie, Josh drops Tyler off at his house. I give him a hug and wave goodbye as Josh drives back to my house to drop me off.

The car ride was surprisingly quiet. I shift in my seat. "Josh, why were you mad earlier?" I break the silence.

"I wasn't mad," Josh says calmly.

"You weren't acting like yourself, is something bothering you?" I press on. I wanted to know what was eating him.

"It's nothing, Y/N," Josh's grip on the steering wheel tightens and his jaw clenches. Something was obviously up.

Just then, a theory came to me. "Are you jealous of Tyler?"

Josh suddenly slams the breaks of the car, causing me to fly forward in my seat. Josh clicks his seatbelt off and opens the door.

He comes around to my side and opens the door, unbuckling my seatbelt and pulling my hand in his.

"Josh why did you-" Josh cuts me off by gently placing his lips on mine.

Josh's hands go around my waist and mine tangle in his flaming red hair as I kiss his soft lips.

He finally pulls away, not letting go of me and looking into my eyes. "Y/N, I'm sorry I was in such a bad mood yesterday. It's just that I've kind of had a crush on you for a long time and it made me jealous when you were being really friendly with Tyler."

I smile back at him. "Really, Josh? I've liked you too; ever since we met."

Josh relaxes at my reply and he gives me his signature squinty smile. "Well, in that case, will you be my girlfriend?"

I hug him in response. "Of course I will, Josh, after all, I've always preferred the drummer."
