Essence POV

I woke up checking my surroundings realizing I was in bed with August

Memories of last night start to flow in my head and I got to start breakfast

After using the bathroom I went downstairs to check on Dayci and Marisol

I peeked in the door to see Dayci up watching tv and Marisol still sleep

"TeeTee E" she yelled excitedly running to me

I laughed at her excitement when it was only seven something in the morning

"Hay my baby you wanna help TeeTee cook breakfast?"

She jumping up and down excitedly clapping and cheering

"Yes, TeeTee yayyy" she said

I laughed at her and told her to quiet down so she wouldn't wake Marisol

"First let's get you out these clothes mama" I said closing the door behind us

I got her one of Kay's t-shirts and a new pair of panties I got for Kay Kay when she stays the night and a pair of her sweatpants

I looked in my draw and got my panties some gray sweatpants and a t-shirt

I stopped the water and grabbed her dirty clothes and put them in the washer

I reached back in the bathroom and saw Dayci playing with the bubbles

"C'mon Tee" she said blowing bubbles

"Oh no mama I can't"

"Why? We have the same thing yours is just bigger" she giggled

I sighed as I undressed and got in with her

Once we were finished we headed back downstairs to cook breakfast

"Why isn't anybody up?" I asked looking at the time

8:10 and nobody's up?

"Say lil mama you wanna ditch this joint and head over to IHop and then we hit up the mall? "

"Yess but I have no money" she said sadly

"Don't worry bout that, TeeTee E gotchu baby always okay?" I said genuinely

She nodded her head and ran to my car in the backseat

"You wanna sit in the front?"

She nodded her head so fast, so went on the passenger side and buckled her up

I ran over to my side and pulled out the driveway and turned on the radio

Anything by Natasha Mosley started to play and Dayci sang along

Although she sang the lyrics terribly she was enjoying herself

"You betta twerk dem' alphabets in ya head"I told her as we pulled up at IHop

I opened her door for her and went into IHop and found us a table

"Watchu want mama?" I asked glancing at the menu

"Pancakes" she said

I called the waitress over telling her our order

We were now pulling in the driveway when I received a text on my phone

Dre: Good morning beautiful sleep well

I decided not to answer right now and got all the bags out of the trunk and entered the house

I unlocked the door to see August on the couch watching tv

I closed the door and went upstairs with the bags before he asked where we went

"Essence come hea'" I heard him yell

I sighed and quickly put the bags in my room seeing Marisol on the bed watching tv

"I'll be back" I said before she could say anything

I ran back downstairs and told Dayci to go upstairs

"You wanted me?" I asked him

"Yea I was wondering why that Dre nigga texting ya phone?" He asked

I did leave my phone down here didn't I?

"Same reason Crystal and every other bitch text you so what's the point?" I said

"The point is you don't need to be texting that nigga" he said like he was proving a point

"Last time I checked my dad was no where to be found so missed me with that bullshit" I said going upstairs

"Essence you betta come back down hea' before I come up thea'" I heard him say

"Wateva" I mumbled going into my room

"Okay you ready to talk now?" I asked Marisol

"Yes I'm ready to tell you what happened"
