Song 10.1: Enchanted

“Well, do you like me enough to tell me your name?” He asked.

“Lauren. I’m Lauren Nyx Andou King.” I said, smiling.

“Nice to meet you. I’m Blaze. Blaze Aki Koizumi Jung.” He replied. I just nodded.

Just as we were getting comfortable, the music changed from an upbeat one, to a song suited for a slow dance.

“May I have this dance?” He asked as he held out his hand.

“Yes, you may.” I replied and placed my hand on his. He led us in the middle of the crowd, the dance floor.

He placed his hands on my waist and I placed mine on his neck. And slowly, we danced through the melody of ‘Enchanted’.

Seriously, this is the perfect song for the mood and our situation. This night is sparkling and I don’t want to ever let it go. I’m wonderstruck and I’m pretty sure I’m blushing fifty shades of red right now.

~ Your eyes whispered, "Have we met?"

Across the room your silhouette

Starts to make its way to me

The playful conversation starts

Counter all your quick remarks

Like passing notes in secrecy

And it was enchanting to meet you

All I can say is I was enchanted to meet you

“Hey, are you sure you’re already leaving?” He asked me. I just nodded my head.

“Well, I need so say this. It was enchanting to meet you. I was enchanted to meet you, Lauren.” He told me.

“I was enchanted to meet you too, Blaze. Until we meet again.” I replied.

“You think we’ll see each other again?” He asked, hopefully.

“If destiny says yes, then we’d see each other again.” I said.

“Then, can I, can I keep in touch?” He asked again with his puppy dog eyes.

“Yes. Of course you can. Here’s my number.” I said and gave him my number.

“And here’s mine.” Blaze said and I tapped in his numbers on my phone.

“Bye bye muna Blaze.” I said and kissed him on the lips. This seemed to shock him but he responded. It took us a few seconds then we pulled away.

“See you soon, Lauren.” He said.

“My thoughts would echo your name, until I see you again.”
