I'm sure to shower and scrub myself well the morning of the interview. I washed my hair the night before so all I have to do is style it in a professional ponytail.

I put on a black pencil skirt that isn't too tight so that it shows too much curves, but it shows enough to let others know that I do have them. Nude heel, nude blouse, and black H&M blazer. I put on the pearl earrings that Donnell bought me for my birthday, and look at myself in the mirror.

Damn. I look like a new person compared to how I've been looking this past week. I apply some light makeup and dab myself with some perfume. I'm good to go. Now here comes the hard part. I bring wear my moccasins and put my heels in my purse before I kill myself.

The Uber I called is already out front waiting for me. I hop in and give him the address.

Michael
I check my watch then stretch my body. It's 2:27. Ugh! Feels like I've been here longer. Today has been terrible already. Woke up late. Arrived at the office only to find that I missed an important meeting with one of my clients. I spilled coffee all over my new iPhone 6s.

I'll have to get a new one today. As if this day can't get any worse, I'm up to my neck in paper work. My phone rings and I pick up.

"Your 2:30 interview with Ms. Williams is here. Should I send her in?" My secretary asks in her nasally voice.

I groan. I forgot yet again.

"Yeah. Send her in." I say and hang up.

I attempt to organize the mess on my desk. By the time the door opens, I've managed to arrange a sad excuse of a pile.

Fallon
I walk into the tall building of the law firm around 2:20. This place is huge. The guys who work here must be making the big bucks.

"Can I help you?" The front desk person says.

I smile sheepishly and walk over to the desk.

"Uh. I'm here to meet with Mr. Ealy. Michael Ealy." I say.

He sighs and instructs me to go to the top floor.

"Thank you." I say before walking away.

I have 7 minutes till my interview now! The slow elevator takes me up to the top floor. My breath is immediately taken away by the view I'm greeted with when the elevator doors open. The city of Atlanta can be seen perfectly from here.

I walk up to another front desk and ask for Mr. Ealy again. The rude secretary asks for my name then instructs me to sit down.

"Mr. Ealy will be seeing you now, Ms. Williams." She says knocking me out of my daydream.

I nod my head and stand up. I pull down my skirt and straighten myself up before following her down the hall.

"Here you are." She says dropping me off in front of a wooden door,"Good Luck."

"Thank you."

I take deep breaths before opening the door and entering the office.

Michael
The first thing I notice when seeing her is her blunt beauty. This woman is drop dead gorgeous. Her body seems to be fire because her skirt was doing her no justice. I hold back the urge to bite my lip and stand up to shake her hand.

"It's so great to meet you, Ms. Williams." I say pleasantly while shaking her soft.

She smiles softly and says,"Pleased to meet you too, Mr. Ealy."

She stares into my gray-blue eyes as if mesmerized.

"Have a seat." I say offering her a chair in front of my desk.

We walk over to me desk and take our seats. She carefully sets her bag down and crosses her ankles. She takes out a folder and hands it to me.

"My resume and contact references if you have any reason to doubt me." She says firmly.

I take the folder and open it to read over her resume. Graduated from Harrison College with a bachelors in psychology. She was a 2nd grade teacher for two years then a nanny for one.

A couple of references that I skim over. I like her already. I look up to see her smiling pleasantly. I smirk.

"I think you're what I've been looking for for this position.  Where are you from exactly?" I ask her.

"North Dakota." She says easily,"Moved here a couple weeks ago."

"How do you like it?" I ask.

"It's refreshing to get a taste of the city. I like it."

I clear my throat and return back to business.

"Just a reminder that this is a live in job with Sundays off. You'll be getting paid $500 a week. My daughter, Imani, is 4 years old. She gets attached to people easily so don't get surprised if she clings to you. Any questions?" I ask.

"So...I got the job?" She asks slowly.

"Yeah. Why not?" I say with a shrug.

She sighs a sigh that sounds like relief then stands up.

"Thank you so much Mr. Ealy."

"Call me Michael."

"Michael." She says softly. I love the my name rolls off of her tongue.

Fallon
Michael writes down the address of his home. He takes his time writing the letters in his beautiful handwriting before thrusting the paper into my hands.

"Will you need help moving your things?" He asks.

"Um. No. I should be fine." I reply.

"You're sure?"

"Yeah. Thanks."

I force myself to make eye contact with him. He's so damn fine that it's making me a little nervous. Men make me nervous.

"Call me if you have any questions." He tells me.

Even though he can't look at me and know that I'm not who I am, I feel like he does. He seems strange to me too. I made sure to cover my arms because there are bruises that are still healing. My neck has a couple of scars that I carefully covered with make-up.

"Okay. I'll see you in two days." I say while walking out of the door.
