When I woke up, I got a quick shower and walked down stairs. When I saw Damon I narrowed my eyes. He was dancing with a bunch of girls who had bite marks all over them. He was taking this Kathrine thing hard.

"You wanna join me, sister?" He asked, biting down on the one he was holding. I was about to when Stefan grabbed my arm. Damon groaned. Stefan pulled Damon off to the side and started to talk to him. I didn't catch what they were saying cause I was too busy biting down on one of the girls. I began to rip the girl's neck open. I bit down harder.

"Come on, don't kill anyone, little sis," Damon said, trusting me back. I hissed and aimed to push him out of the way, but he grabbed my arm. I sighed softly and looked down at the ground. Damon looked at me, and I sighed lightly.

"I'll be back later," Stefan said walking out of the house. I wanted to go after him, but suddenly the sun burned me. I took a step back, and Damon went to all of the windows closing the shades. I sighed softly.

"How do you guys walk in the sun?" I asked curiously.

"Rings," He said, showing me his ring. "Witches make them. Now I have one left over from the years past." He said, running up to his room then coming back down with his vampire speed. He slipped it on my finger then headed toward the door.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"Bar, wanna come?" He asked.

"Though you'd never ask." I said, hooking my arm with his.

When we got to the Mystic Grill Damon and I walked over to the bar. He sat down next to a guy with scruffy brown hair man with a beard to match.

"Don't you have some papers to grade?" My brother asked the man. So he was a teacher? A woman came over and sat drink down in front of me. I took a sip out of the glass as I listened to their conversation.

"It more fun with a buzz." The man said.

"Everything is. Sober is depressing." Damon said, and I looked at him. Back to Kathrine?

"You don't strike me as someone who get's depressed." The man said.

"You say that like you know me." Damon said.

"Nope." He muttered. "Just a hunch." My brother looked over at him with an intense stare. What was up with the two of them?

"You have a good afternoon." The man said taking another drink then getting up and leaving.

"Who was that." He said.

"A friend." He said. Then a blonde haired lady came walking over to us all dressed up in uniform. She looked at me.

"Who's this?" She asked

"My sister." Damon said.

"Well, I need a favor." She said.

"Have a seat." Damon said.

"There is a fundraiser here tonight that the founders council is holding. The town's most eligible bachelors get raffled off for dates, and, well, well we are sorta out of bachelors." She said with a sigh.

"Is this what you do when there is no..." Damon said leaning in closer and looking around. "vampires. Organize bachelor raffles." He said, so the town didn't know that Damon was a vampire? Or me or Stefan.

"Trust me at this point, I miss the vampires." She scoffed. "Look you're a hero to this town Damon, and I know most people don't know it, but you are, and you're single and a catch." I wanted to burst out laughing right there. My brother a hero? And a catch? My brother shook his head slightly.
