Katelyn: Chapter Two

When Nicole has an idea I really don't know what to do. I met here a few weeks ago when I first visited Aphmau's village. She's really nice actually, and I consider her as one of my best friends here. She's the daughter of the lord of Scaleswind and is thus engaged to Garroth. This small world is strange.

Since I told Nicole earlier that I didn't play a lot of games she's been constantly trying to give me some fun. I grew up in Okhasis and as soon as I was old enough to get mischievous I was sent to the guard academy. Little did I know that I was to work for Zane.

Since I decided to move into Phoenix Drop, Nicole's been letting me stay with her. We are the only girl guards here and she is pretty fun to hang around. I was just playing with Roxy when she came in with Brendan.

"Hey Kate, we're going to Aphmau's house for a game." She called. When I saw her expression I sighed.

"FINE!" I muttered walking towards the door. Roxy gave a small whine and curled back up on Nicole's bed.

30 minutes later Aphmau had around 15 people crowded in her basement. I looked around at the amount of people Nicole invited.

On my left was Aphmau and on my right was Nicole. Then Brendan, Kiki, Donna, her bored looking husband, Laurence, Garroth, Kawaii~Chan, Lucinda, Zoey, Dante, Levin, Malachi, and a few other teens were there.

"Welcome ladies and gents to this weeks game; Truth or Dare." Nicole exclaimed sitting down.

We all sighed, and I exchanged a glance with Aphmau.

"Has no one had a childhood here?" Nicole said disappointingly. "That's sad." She remarked when some of us shrugged.

"Truth or Dare is an easy enough game, I played it when I was five. Garroth should know it. It was popular in our villages." Nicole prompted. Garroth sighed when we all looked at him.

"Hey, Nicole." Aphmau said beside me. "I know how to play but I seriously doubt everyone does." She sneaked in a sideways glance towards me.

"Oh! Right!" Nicole said. "Basically someone asks someone else truth or dare." She turned towards me. "Truth or dare Katelyn?"

"Dare." I shrugged. I was ready for any dare she gave me.

"Ha ha!" Nicole yelled, excitedly. "Now I get to dare you to do something. If you said truth I would get to ask you a question and if you don't answer, or don't do the dare, you lose a piece of clothing."

"Harsh" Laurence muttered smiling.

"Which I'm sure no one wants to do with Laurence around." Nicole gave a pointed look at Laurence who shrugged.

"Anyways Katelyn, I dare you to grab me one of Zoey's muffins from upstairs."

That wasn't so bad. I thought as I ran to get the muffin. Nicole explained that the dares didn't have to be mean, and the truths didn't need to be personal. Also, apparently I could ask anyone I wanted next.

This is going to be fun. I laughed as Nicole bit into her muffin.
