Chapter 8

Joey's POV

Mom: Well Daniel would you like to come inside?

I saw her give him a warm smile. Why can't it always be like this?

Daniel: Sure.

I saw her move from the door letting me and Daniel walk inside.

Mom: Well make yourself at home Daniel. I am going out tonight, ok Joey?

Joey: Ok.

mom: Bye!

She gave me a hug and left.

I looked down and walked outside sitting on the sun chair.

Daniel: What's wrong?

Joey: Nothing.

Daniel: Come on Joey I know when your upset.

Joey: Nothing it's nothing just forget about it.

Daniel: But your hurting sweetie! I don't want you to.

Joey: My mom's an alcoholic.

I said it in a soft whisper and placed my head in my hands tears slowly falling down my face.

Daniel: Hey don't be sad I'm always her for you.

I felt him pull me into a hug.

Joey: I Love you.

Wait it's to early. What if he doesn't say it back. Gosh I am so stupid.

Daniel: I Love You To!

I looked up from my hands and smiled.

Daniel: Now there's the smile!

He lifted me up from the chair and picked me up throwing me on the couch.

Daniel: Do you have netflix?

Joey: Yes of course Darling!

I grabbed the remote turning netflix in and handing it to Daniel.

Daniel: What do you eat to watch?

He scrolled through the movies until one popped up.

Joey:OH MY GOD!!

Daniel: What!?

Joey: PUT MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO ON!!!!

I jumped up and down on the couch.

Daniel: Woah calm yourself Dearium, as long as you sit down then I will.

I saw him shake his head.

Joey: Fine.

I jumped on Daniel.

Daniel: OUCH! You are so getting it!

Joey: Oh no.

I was about to jump off of him but he started to tickle me.

I laughed and screamed until I heard nichole.

Nichole: Oh my god Joey who is this!?

Joey: Oh um my friend.

I Got off of Daniel and sat next to him.

Nichole: Sure.

I saw her giving me a death stare.

Joey: Fine this is Daniel my um

Daniel: Boyfriend.

Joey: Yah.

I smiled to myself at the remark Daniel had made.

Nichole: Aww I ship it! JANIEL!

Daniel: YASS!

Nichole: Now if you hurt Joey I will slit your throat and wrists.

Joey: NICHOLE!

Nichole: Fine but I will kill you.

Daniel: Ok I promise I won't hurt him.

Nichole: Good. Now what are you lovebirds watching?

She fell onto the spot next To me.

Joey: My Neighbor Totoro

Nichole: Awsome.

I rember Nichole leaving to her room and me slowly falling asleep cuddled Into Daniels arms.
