imagine josh loving to draw, doodle and just color in general because it calms him down when he's having an episode to the point he has sketch pad upon sketch pad filled with drawing of anything from geometric shapes to realistic portraits and josh is really freaking good.
chris always buys josh those relaxation and de-stress coloring books when he's out because he knows josh will use them if he wakes up in the middle of night if he's feeling particularly bad but never wants to wake chris up (even if chris wishes he would).
josh also has a tendency to draw on people too, doing patterns on people like sam's hands in the middle of class instead of concentrating and they just reach out and let him. but josh's absolute favorite thing to do is draw on chris so sometimes he buys body paint and chris lies just on his back or chest and closes his eyes and feels josh's paint-filled hands sculpting over his body because he likes to think it lets him know he's actually there even though he has to reassure him every night anyway.
