Zoey POV

Matt and I walked into the gym, when we walked in we bumped into Cameron

"Hey guys, wow you look amazing Zoey" he told me

"Thanks Cam, who did you come with tonight?"

"I came with Bella, about the other day when I was mad at you I want to say sorry" he told me.

"It's fine don't worry about well I will see you around" I told him while I took Matt to the dance floor

Matt and I were dancing, no we were not grinding on each other cause eww.

"You are the prettiest girl here" Matt told me

"Awe now I know your lying, but thank you" I said and kissed his cheek

He had the biggest smile on his face. "But I mean it Zoey you are beautiful in every way" he told me

"Alright it's time to announce the homecoming king and queen!" The DJ said "your homecoming king is Matthew Espinosa!" Matt walked up and got his crown "Now for your queen, Bella Halloway!"

My heart sunk at this not that I wanted to be queen but Matt and Bella had to dance together.

Matt POV
Great now I had to dance with Bella.

"I'm sorry Zoey" I told her

"No it's fine, I'm happy for you and it's only for 1 dance" she told me

"Now let's have the king and queen have their dance!" The DJ said

So I had to leave Zoey and go dance with Bella

"Hi Matty!" She said to me.

"Hi let's just get this dance over with" I told her

"Why? What's the rush you want to go dance with that slut" she said

At that I was furious, I just left Bella, and went to find Zoey. I went to the place where I have left her but she was not there.

Where did she go, I went over to the snack table to see if she was there but she was not. I saw Anna

"Hey Anna have you seen Zoey?" I asked

"No, but aren't you supposed to be dancing with horrid Bella?" She asked

"Yes, but I'm not why would I? But thanks anyway" I said and left to go find her.

Zoey POV
While I watched Matt go to Bella, I felt another hand grab my hand. I turned around it was Brandon. I quickly took my hand away but he grabbed it again tighter.

"How about you dance with me? Since your date left you" he said

"He did not leave me, he just had to leave for one dance" I told him

"Well I would never leave you" he said gripping my hand tighter 

I laughed "oh really because if I remember correctly you cheated on me with Eliza" I told him trying to pull my hand

"Well only because I needed some action and you were not giving me any" he said

Gross I knew what he was referring to, sex. "Your disgusting" I said

With that he pulled me out into the hallway
"Let go of me!" I yelled

"No not until I get what I should have token from you lag year" he said

Was he going to rape me!?! I started yanking away trying my best but he was stronger than me.

"Stop struggling!" He said when he said that I saw Matt he punched Brandon and he let go of me and stumbled back.

Brandon was furious and punched Matt right back. "Stop!" I tried to break it up Cameron heard me and pulled Matt off then Taylor came over and held Brandon off. My eyes were full of tears as Anna came up and hugged me. "Zoey, take Matt home" Taylor said. I nodded and grabbed Matt and guided him to the car.

"Zoey I'm so sorry I feel--"

I cut him off "don't you came in at that perfect moment, for all I know I was going to be raped, you saved me your my hero"

I pulled into his, none of his family is home his parents are out of town and his siblings are at a party. I brought him in and set him down in the kitchen I grabbed a washcloth and wet it and tapped it on the cut in his lip. He flinched at that. "Look babe I know it hurts but you have to stay still" I said

"You just called me babe" he said.

Now that he mentioned it I did and I did not even think about it, it just came out "yeah I did" I smiled at him. I was finally done being "Doctor" I realized I had no way in getting home

"You can sleep over here if you want" Matt told me

"I don't have any pajamas, or makeup remover" I told him

"Kristen has some makeup remover and you can sleep in my clothes" he said

That solves my problems. I texted my mom saying I was sleeping over at Anna's which she believed. I changed into one of Matt's t shirts which was huge in me and took my makeup off. I walked into Matt's room which he was shirtless laying in his bed. When he saw me he sat up and saw him whisper under his breath "damn" I blushed.

"Where should I sleep?" I asked breaking the silence

"Well in my bed, there is no other place for you to sleep that is comfy" he said

"Matt I feel bad I can sleep in the couch" I said

"Nope right here baby girl" he said patting to the empty spot next to him on the bed.

I gave in and climbed in next to him. I was so tired. "So Zoey" Matt said breaking the silence "are we more than friends, I think we are were in the same bed together" he said

"Well, Anna and I sleep in the same bed when we have sleepovers" I said giggling

Be rolled his eyes "you know what I mean"

I laughed "maybe just maybe Espinosa" I said and pretended to fall asleep.
