Chapter 7

Zoey POV

Matt is picking me up before the party. I already dropped off Teddy at his friends house.

I was getting ready for the party Matt was going to be here in an hour I picked out my dress it was grey with shoulder cut off I waved my hair and did a light smoky eye look. I put on tinted pink Vaseline and put on Pink heels, I looked at myself in the mirror and liked how I looked and then I heard the doorbell.

Matts POV
The door opened

"Hey Zo-- wow you look amazing" I said.

She looked gorgeous the dress hugged her in the right places. Great now all the guys are going to go to her and I can't do anything about it, I wish she was my girlfriend.

"Thank you, you look pretty good yourself" Zoey said snapping me out of my thoughts

"Thanks, you ready?" I asked "yup" she said

Zoey locked up her door and we walked out to my car

"Wow I like your car" Zoey said

I have a red mustang that can turn into a convertible.

"Thanks" I said while opening the door for her.

Zoey POV

Me and Matt walked into the party it was so loud and there had to be at least 100 people here and more still coming. I lost Matt and then a girl came up to me.

"Hey your Zoey right?"

"Yea and your are?" I asked her

"Anna, it's nice to meet you. I'm in your Calc class and Chemistry."

"Well it's nice to meet you too" I said

Anna is very pretty she has long dark Brunette hair with green eyes and she was in a red tight dress.

"Are you friends with Bella?" I asked

"I used to, she turned on me when me and Matt had a thing I guess" she yelled over the music.

"What?" I asked I was just confused what she was meaning

"Well Bella used to date Matt and she still likes him and wants no one to date him unless it's her" Anna explained to me

"Oh" I said

I lost Anna and I was by myself I sat down, and no I will not drink. A guy came up to me and grabbed my hand. I knew he was drunk.

"Hey their cutie, want to go upstairs and have some fun?" He slurred

I knew what he meant and I just wanted to get out of here but I had to find Matt he was my ride.

He grabbed my arm very tightly. And dragged me upstairs at this time I was yelling for Matt

"Matt Matt!" I yelled.

Matts POV

I heard someone yelling my name. It sounded like Zoey. I dropped my drink, thank goodness that was my only drink. I followed the screams into a bedroom. Zoey was pinned against the wall and she was trying to fight him. I ran up to him and beat the shit out of him. He did gave me a black eye and a cut lip.

Zoey was on the ground crying. I went over to her and picked her bridal style and she was crying in my shirt. I went out to my car and set her in the passenger seat. She was still crying and shaken up.

"I'm sorry Zoey I should have never have left you." I said

She did not say anything back so I drove her home.

I walked her up to her door she unlocked it

"Matt? Will you stay with me for a little bit?" She asked

"Sure" I said

We walked in Zoey we to in her bedroom to change. She walked out in a baggy t shirt with her hair in a messy bun and some yoga shorts. And she still looked hot.

"Thanks for saving me" she said

"Ehh it's no big deal" I told her

"Oh my god your lip and eye!" And she said she grabbed a washcloth and sapped my lip and eye.

"Ow" I said "sorry" she said

"It's alright I'm just glad you are okay" I told her. She smiled at me

"Hey Zoey? Would you like to go out with me sometime?" I asked her

"Matt, you know I don't believe in that stuff" she said.

"Well just don't think it's a date just think we are going out as sorta kinda friends" I told her

"Alright" she said and smiled

"Awesome I will pick you up at 2pm we are going to a Waterpark" I told her.

"Do you just want to see me in my bathing suit?" She said laughing

"Yes yes I do" I told her with a smile
