After the War

-flashback-

I sliced through a hellhound,looking for my friends.

"Annabeth? Jason? Piper? Hazel? Frank? Leo?" I called out.

"We're..we're over here." I heard Jason's voice.

I trudged over to his voice and gasped in horror. Frank was lying down on the ground,his eyes open,but glassy.

"Frank? You're going to be okay,alright? Frank?" I shook his shoulder. He didn't reply. I took his pulse. There was nothing. In my heart,I knew he was dead.

I looked around gasped again. Hazel was on the ground,an arrow through her throat. "No." I whimpered. "Haze. No."

Piper was lying next to her,with a dagger through her heart. Three feet next to her was Leo. He looked as if he dunked himself in the water countless times. I went closer,but I don't think he was breathing.

Please let Jason be alive,please. I begged in my brain. I saw him a few feet away from me. I ran to him and checked his pulse. I smiled. He was alive,well barely. I checked him. There were stab marks all over his body.

"Percy." Jason opened his eyes and croaked,"Avenge us.... Don't let her escape alive." There was an emotion in his eyes. It was probably hatred towards Gaia.

I ran around frantically. I had to find Annabeth. I saw her a few feet away,battling Gaia. I watched,frozen as Annabeth was lifted in the air and slammed to the ground. Gaea lifted a knife,an Imperial gold one, and........I don't want to say it in detail.

I ran over to my girlfriend, hoping she was still alive. "Annabeth?"

She groaned."Percy?"

I held her in my arms."Yes,it's me."

She smiled. "Don't grieve over us, Percy. Get a new life."

Her eyes started to close."I...love you."she whispered, and closed her eyes. I started to cry,and then stopped. I stood up and faced Gaea,hatred and anger in my eyes.

"How dare you?" I fumed.

Gaia laughed." They were weak. They never stood a chance against me."

I took a deep breath but before I could do anything yet,she flung Jason's body into Thalia's Pine. "Oh,that's it." I growled.

She smirked at me. "What are you going to do,Perseus? Kill me?"

Her eyes flickered with amusement as she laughed. "You wouldn't dare."

A few moments later, her laughs turned into screams of pain as I thrust my sword into her torso and twisted it.

"Please Perseus. Have mercy." Gaea winced as I twisted it again,this time I freezed the ichor inside her slowly. "Mercy? Have mercy?" I laughed maniacally. I must have looked crazy,because the gods themselves were staring at me with horror. "You didn't give my friends mercy,and now you expect me to do so?" I prepared to freeze her entirely. Then I  raised my sword. "Goodbye,Gaea." I slashed my sword at her neck as she turned blue and her body shattered into a million frozen pieces.

I smirked. Then I walked over to Annabeth's body and sat down next to her. Soon enough,my agony of losing my friends came back.

"P-Percy?" April,my friend who I see as a little sister's voice sounded behind me.

I turned around. She looked horrified.

"Are-are they d-dead?" She stammered.

I nodded. "Yes."

"Nonononono. This is not real." She muttered. She started to back away.

"April!" I called. "Where are you going?"

She didn't answer and ran away.

-flashback over-

I gasped and woke up. I was in my bed in my mom's apartment. After the war, April went missing. I volunteered to look for her,with Nico,Thalia, and other people.

I sighed. I'll find you April. No matter where you are. I won't let anybody else I know die again.

I'm tired of people keep commenting who's April and all that. Like I said in a later chapter,I'm going to edit everything. Including this chapter the most. Please stop commenting that.
