Walking into the studio

I has wanted this for so long. This scholarship had meant everything to me, I was walking down the halls of the Juilliard school and I wondered 'can I be a principal dancer one day'. I looked down at the paper that was directing to where my studio was, I was super early for class but I wanted to get some stretching done first.

I stopped and came to the door of the studio. Studio one hundred and forty six, I pushed the heavy door open and walked in, it was quiet, peaceful, the way I liked it. I set my bag down and searched for my iPod. I took it out and saw there was a dock in the far corner. I walked over and placed the iPod on the dock and turned on the music 'to build a home' one of my most favourite songs to dance too.

I quickly chucked my shoes near my bag and walked into the centre of the room, and began to feel the beat of the music, every twist every turned made me feel more alive. The music was beginning to slow and ended up on the ground on my back. When the music stopped I opened my eyes and looked at the ceiling for a minute thinking about how I came here, to Dance. I stood up from the floor and looked into the mirror I gasped...
