[takes place when Paige went missing]
Mackenzie's POV
I nearly fall forward from squeezing my brakes so hard on my bike.
My mom wanted me home urgently, I'm surprised because shes really mad at me.
I tumble off my bike and run into the house.
As I enter, I hear voices echo through the house.
I rush into the kitchen, she runs and hugs me.
"Thank god your okay!!"
"What's going on?! Why are there police cars in the driveway!?" Breaking away from the hug, confused.
My mom takes a gulp and doesn't respond.
"What's going on!!?" I question a little louder
When she doesn't respond again, I run upstairs past the police officers, up to my room where I find, Jojo, Maddie, Brooke, and Clara.
"What's going on?!"
They don't respond, just cry.
"Pai--Paige is missing." Brooke responds breaking down.
All the girls wrap there arms around her in a big hug, but I just stand there shocked.
First Chloe, now Paige?
This isn't true; this can't be real.
"N-n--no-no. She can't be missing! She can't!!"
I slide down the wall and hug my knees in my chest.
I start crying.
I never cry.
We're going to find them, no matter what it takes.
