Daniel's parents let her stay for the night, agreeing not to tell her parents- just this once. By morning, Kai borrowed some of Daniel's older sister's clothes and was off to meet the people that would help Kai with her current situation.

Daniel led her  downtown and in front of an abandoned dollar tree behind a golfing center. Kai felt so nervous she could throw up right then and there. Again thoughts roamed through her head. What if they don't let me in? What then? Why would they want me?  Daniel must have seen the troubled look on her face because he grabbed her arm and pulled her into a tight hug "Don't worry yourself okay? They're here to help and they'll be glad to have you".

Kai appreciated the hug, sank into it, and whispered a soft okay. Daniel opened the door and they stepped inside. It was dark with the only light coming from the openings through the paper that they taped against the windows. All of the shelves were pushed against the wall and small cots resided in the middle of the room which held three sleeping girls. Daniel walked up to a dark skinned girl with shoulder length dark brown hair pulled into a ponytail.

He shooked her arm and was about to whisper wake up when the girl jumped up and pinned him against the floor. "Who are you?" She groggily muttered. He gasped in shock before taking her arms off his shoulders and helped her up. "Erm I don't know if you remember me but you helped me a few months back with um that problem I had" he uttered. The girl looked at his face more alert than before and squinted "Daniel?" she questioned.

Daniel nodded his head with confirmation. "Wow long time no seen, how did that problem with you and J-" she started "Fine, absolutely fine it's okay" he interrupted his whole face going red. The girl looked confused before glancing at Kai, her mouth saying a silent oh. "Who are you?" she questioned. Kai opened her mouth awkwardly and blushed "Daniel told me you could help me with my situation, I'm Kai."

Her face turned into one of not pity but sympathy. "Oh I understand, well your welcome here Kai, I'll wake the other girls up so they can meet you. The name's Charlotte." Kai nodded and watched as she woke up the other girls. A blonde, fair skinned girl walked towards them, and Charlotte dragged a tan brunette over as well.

"Her name is Clara but you can call her C.C for short." Charlotte announced pointing to the smiling blonde next to Kai. "And this is Zoe" she said pulling the barely awake brunette girl to her feet. She muttered a quick hello before promptly passing out in Charlotte's arms again. Kai wondered if they were dating. "I-It's nice meet you all," with a quick hand shake and small shy smile they began to speak of Kai's predicament.
