Wrong Wendy

The Choice

~This story was posted a while ago and when I reread it I realized it was filled with mistakes and sounded completely unorganized and that I didn't really try so I revised most of the story and Changed the ending so if you've read this previously It has changed for (what I hope is) the better. *Dippers POV*
I was standing there watching not knowing which was the real Wendy and who was the shape shifter, confused I told them to give me a sign but to my horror they both gave signs Wendy had given me on many occasions so I lunged for the one who zipped her lips and threw away the key because that wasn't as common as the other Wendy's wink, but when I swung the ax into her stomach it was to my horror that I saw red blood starting to leak out "Wendy! I'm so sorry I should have made sure before and-" "Dude it's not your fault." "Wendy please don't go I-I-I love you! I always have!" "I know, but I want you to move on I-I *cough cough* I'm not gonna make it out" with that she fell limp in my arms and behind me I hear the shifter start laughing "So I guess I was pretty convincing with that wink." "DIPPER! WENDY!" I heard Mabel yell as she ran towards us then as she looked down at the girl in my arms that I'd loved since I met. Denying the truth she started to call Wendy's name hoping for her to open her eyes. That's when Soos ran in yelling as the shifter was closing in on him, but when he saw the dead teen he stopped in shock and the Shifter lunged for him, but Mabel screamed pulling Soos from his trance and he just looked at us nodded and started running towards the tunnels taunting the Shifter having it chase after him. Confused and scared Mabel yelled out to him. "Soos what are you doing?!" But he didn't hear her.  "He....he's saving us, by using himself as bait." I stammered understanding that I may never see my friend again. I sat there not wanting to move, but it was when I looked over at my crying twin that I decided Soos would not sacrifice himself for nothing! I left my dead love and ran to Mabel And pulling her by the hand towards the exit. "D-D-Dipper! we can't just leave Soos!" she yelled and pulled back towards the tunnel Soos ran to. "Mabel, he's trying to buy us time so we can escape please hurry!" as I finished my sentence a scream was heard through out the cave. "SOOS!" Mabel cried out hoping to get an answer, but I knew she wasn't gonna get one. I grabbed her arm again to run out of the Cave and back through the lab and Puzzle room. we were almost to the false closet door when we heard a voice behind us. "Dipper it's Soos we have to wait for him!" I was confused, but it didn't take me long to work it out. "Mabel that's not Soos! The Shifter is just trying to trick us!" as we were running Mable tripped and as I tried helping her up she yelped in pain I saw that she had twisted her ankle. When I tried to pick her up and carry her out the Shifter called out to us again using Wendy's voice "Dipper how could you kill me? You're just a no good murderer!" it was taunting us, but it wasn't lying I was nothing, but a murderer I felt the tears falling from my eyes as I ran with Mabel on my back trying to run as fast as I could which turned out to be quite difficult when I had double the weight to carry. "Dipper put me down." a chill ran down my spine. "Mabel why would I do that!? I'm not gonna put you down you can't run on your ankle how would you get out?" I hoped with all my heart that she was gonna comply and let me help her. "Dip I know you're tired and I can tell your struggling to get us out of here and to carry my weight with your own and not drop me, but the shape shifter is getting closer and neither of us are going to make it if we keep at this pace." I couldn't believe it she wanted to sacrifice herself for me! "Mabel No! I'm not gonna leave you here to die! We'll both make it out and we're both gonna live to see tomorrow!" I ran faster, knowing I might drop her I held on to her tighter and using up the last bit of adrenaline I had left I got us to the end of the puzzle room so all we had to do was crawl through the tunnel and we were out! "Mabel you go first now!" I helped her into the tunnel and when she was all the way in I started to crawl behind her. "See Mabel we're almost there just a little fur-" I screamed the shifter was pulling me back, as I was being ripped back through the tunnel I grabbed onto a tree root and started pulling from the monster. "DIPPER!" I saw her start to crawl towards me. "Mabel no! Turn around and get outta here! I'm not gonna make it I'm sorry but when you get out close the door and re-lock it. I love you Sis." and with that I let go "NOOOOOO!" I heard her Scream as I was pulled into the abyss I felt a searing pain and let out an involuntary scream then everything faded to black.

*Mables POV*
All I could think about was Dipper and I making it home and getting this place sealed forever. I felt terror as my brother suddenly started to scream. I looked back and saw that he was being dragged back by one of the Shifters Arms. "DIPPER!" I turned around and started to crawl back, but as I did he told me to stop. "Mabel no! Turn around and get outta here! I'm not gonna make it I'm sorry but when you get out close the door and re-lock it. I love you Sis." I was about to protest, but he let go of the root and was pulled from my sight I screamed, but not wanting to disobey what I knew was his finale wish I turned around and crawled as fast as I could ignoring the pain from my ankle. I heard him scream as I fell out of the tunnel and slammed the door shut locking it. I sat against the wall of the room crying as everything that had happened in what was probably less then a half hour hit me. Wendy, Soos, Dipper all had died and Soos and Dipper only died because of me! I screamed as I heard a banging through the Steel door. "Mabel I got away open the door!" it was Dipper! As I reached for the handle I stopped "How do I know that you're really dipper!?" I questioned. A chill ran down my spine as I heard him laugh "You're smarter then I thought, guess I'll just have to do this the HARD WAY!" I started to crawl up the steps to the outside world when I heard a loud banging from the door. I started crawling a little faster ignoring my ankle, but when I got to the top I heard it break through the door. "Mabellll~" it was calling out to me in Dippers voice. I tried to get to the switch to close the door, but it was too late the creature was out and it started flashing between my twin and two friends. (Soos, Wendy, Dipper,) "Mabeellll~ why don't you wanna help us? I thought you loved us Mabel but you lied and left us all in there! My dad and brothers will never get to see me again all because you wouldn't let us out of the closet when we begged you! Mable how could you leave me? I yelled and you didn't help me! dudette you just ran away! Mabel! How could you just watch as it dragged me away? How could you let it kill me like that!?" I fell and started crying. "I-I-I'm s-sorry! I do l-love you all I couldn't do anything to h-help I'm sorry!" It started laughing at me. "HahahaHAHAHAHAHA how pathetic!" at that it grabbed me and my world went black.
