Song 4: Skyscraper

“Well, I’m martial arts-trained and I’m stronger than those jerks so I punched them out for you. And yeah. My friends already took care of his puny goons.” She said.

“Thank you.” I said gratefully.

“No problem. I’m Nikki Fujimoto by the way.” She said, reaching out her hand to shake mine.

“I’m Denise Tachibana. Nice to meet you too.” I said and shook her hand.

“How do you know Jiro anyway?” I asked.

“Well, I’m kinda like his higher up. Ever heard of the Crimson Sirens?” She asked me. I nodded. I knew Crimson Sirens were the Queens of the Gangster World.

“I am actually the leader of Crimson Sirens. I’m Danielle Anika Berkeley Fujimoto.” My eyeballs almost popped out. She is the famous leader of the Crimson Sirens! I lowered my head.

“I can teach and train you if you want. (^u^)” She offered. My eyes widened even more.

“y-y-You will do that for me?” I asked in disbelief. She just nodded.

“I want you to be my apprentice. (^u^)” She said.

“Thank you very much!” I said as I flung myself at her.

“There, there. Go home now. Training starts tomorrow. Here’s the address and this is my contact info.” She said and gave a small map to Fujimoto Residence and her contact info.

“Thank you so much Nikki.”

“Anything for you.” She said smiling and patted my head.

Just like that, we separated ways.

I also met up with my friends and we all decided to call it a day and go home. Well, they did.  Went to Pandora’s Square.

Agad din akong umalis sa Pandora’s Square at nagpunta sa may park malapit doon. Umupo ako sa may bench at nagsimula nang kumawala ang mga luha na kanina ko pa pinipigil.

Umiyak lang ako ng umiyak. I poured everything out. Everything. Why does it have to be so complicated? Sana hindi na lang ganito ang buhay ko. Pero, I am thankful I met Nikki. I know she’s gonna help me. I don’t know why but, she has this aura that just pulls me closer to her. I feel like I could trust her even though I just met her. Sana nga. Sana nga matulungan niya ako.

I still continued crying. At nakisabay pa ang nature sa mood ko. Because, while I was pouring my heart out, bigla ding umulan nang sobrang lakas.

I just stayed there, soaking wet, not moving. Bigla na lang akong napatingala nang biglang huminto ang pumapatak na ulan sa katawan ko. There stood a stranger, holding out an umbrella for me. I just ignored him and continued crying until I felt sleep creep over me.

(Seth’s POV)

I carried her to my car and started to drive away, heading to her house. Yes. I was the stranger with Denise at the park. I was back at Pandora’s Square earlier and then she came. I decided to follow her when she left and led me to the park. She was soaking in the rain and I was afraid she’ll get sick so I pulled out an umbrella and rushed to her. Napansin niya naman ako but she didn’t seem to care a the moment. Bigla na lang siyang nakatulog, good thing I catched her on time.

I was now in front of their house. I got past the gate. I had to pull some strings to do so. I stopped the car and leaned down to kiss her luscious lips. I placed a soft kiss on her lips and pulled away instantly. I don’t know what happened to her but one thing’s for sure. I am so in love with her and I will do anything for her.
