Rachels pov :
Finn and I have been engaged for 3 months now . We haven't set a date yet but we will we're just taking it easy for now just me and him being a couple. We were lying on the couch watching a movie when I looked at Finn and I notice he had tears rolling down his face . "Baby, whats wrong? " I asked him. "Nothing I just miss my mom . " He said . I sat up and paused the movie . "Aww babe , I miss her too." I said. "I never even git ti say goodbye to her, last thing I talked to her about was you." He told me. I smiled slightly and then wiped his tears , "Your mom would be so proud of you right now Finn . " I told him. "She left me a letter but I didn't have the heart to read it ." He told me. "Why don't I read it to you?" I asked him. "You would do that for me?" He asked me. I smiled and said, "Of course I would ." I told him. He smiled and said, "I'll be right back ." He went into the kitchen and came back with an envelope. "Here this is it , the last words my mother wrote to me ." He said and gave it to me. "You sure you want me to read it?" I asked him. "Yeah I need to here it and who better than you to read it to me . " He said. I sighed and said, "Okay. " I opened the letter and unfolded it and started to read ,
"To my son Finn ,
If you're reading this then it probably means I'm dead and Rachel is reading it to you so Rachel thank you. I'm writing you this because I feel like you should know a couple of things that I never got to tell you when I was alive . So these are my five lessons about life so listen up.
1. Never regret anything - Finn through out your life you will make mistakes , okay you'll make a lot of mistakes but that is okay because everyone does. However , there is no reason to regret them because there what makes you, you . So never look back at what could've been look ahead because you have a wonderful future ahead of you.
2. Love is tough but its worth it - Finn , Rachel, you two are going to have disagreements no matter what but thats okay because love is about over coming obstacles , its about sticking together no matter what happens and accepting eachother and loving eachother for who you are. No couple is perfect because everyone has their flaws so except eachother for them and remember with bad things come the good .
3. Make as many mistakes as possible- You only are young once so make as many mistakes as possible and learn from them . Teach your children not to make those mistakes and let them make their own . Its apart of life and its what makes you from not making them again .

4. Cherish every moment with your family - this one is pretty explainitory. You only have so much time on this earth Finn so no matter what it is a ballet recidel , a football game, and soccer game , a glee club competition, a birthday, a dance don't miss it . Cherish these moments you have and remember that the small moments are worth cherishing too.

5. This last is for Rachel- Rachel I want to thank you because I know as long as you and Finn are together, Finn will be okay. You saved him Rachel from being a player for the rest of his life. You are everything I could ever hope he would have so thank you.

Remember to love eachother and Finn so help me god if I find out you are doing something bad I will come down from heaven and haunt your ass. I love you Finn and Rachel and I wish you both the best .

I put the letter down and said, "You okay Finn?" I asked him. He smiled and said, "Yeah I'm okay . " He told me and pulled me into a hug .
